Norm POV:

I barely remember what happened the night before but everyone went to work as usual then at dinner, grace and Jake were laughing and talking to each other. I walked over and asked them what they were laughing at them they showed me the photos of last night's party. They zoomed in on the upper corner of the photo and I saw me and y/n leaning on the wall, I tried to remember when that happened and it slowly came back to me -  So what did I do to work with such a beautiful woman like you - shit I was flirting with y/n oh my god I'm so screwed. Y/N obviously doesn't remember so I just pretend to not remember either and just go back to hanging out with her during dinner, she's talking to grace about how she barely remember anything from last night. I feel a little embarrassed and decide I'm done with dinner I get up, get rid of the rest of my food and place the now empty tray on the rack and then I go crash in my room for the rest of the night I had lots of trouble falling asleep that night because all I could think about was what y/n said back to my first comment during the party. Then I hear Jake say to me if you keep moving I will shoot you in the face please just go to sleep so that I can sleep dumb ass.

Norm POV:

Ok you know what I just need to forget about the party everyone was probably plastered anyway so it's not that big of a deal. We all went to work it was another day of more casual language and learning about how they all honour every single animal,plant, and blade of grass on there land. I watched y/n walking beside neytiri as her tail swished back and forth while talking to neytiri about something she liked. I could only hear mumbles of their conversation but I could tell both of them were happy and talking about something both of them found interesting. Jake nudged my arm after that I realized I was staring I cleared my throat and looked away from her face then we all got back to the home tree for dinner then we all went to sleep. I open my eyes in the pod then I open the pod step out and see y/n. I see her my face feels warmer I go straight to get a small snack then I avoid her for the rest of the night, I feel bad ignoring her but it's the only way I can forget about what happened at the party. I fall asleep quickly and I have a very restless sleep, more like one long blink I wake up and feel more tired than I did when I fell asleep I groan and leave my room and then start to get ready for the day. I walk into the pod room and connect to my avatar, I walk next to y/n and tap the shoulder that on the other end of me she turns her head that way and then turn's towards me she laughs and I smile back. I then realize how close we are my tail wraps around he's and I quickly pull my tail away hoping she doesn't notice the faint blush starting to slowly spread across my whole face. I look down and say good bye to her as I run to go find Jake. I am now realizing I am like fully and undeniably in love with her and I wasn't upset about that. But I was worried about what will happen when I eventually have to forget about her or I don't get to work with her anymore given my luck but I'll figure that out later.
