The Mysterious Path// Eddie X reader

Part 5

It was silent for a few minutes until Max broke it with a question. "What do you mean you died?" I look at them and I hold my hand up changing our scenery. "Whoa! What'd happening?" Asked Dustin. "I'm changing reality. One of my powers is that I can change what people see." Steve looks at me surprised "One of them?" I nod. "You have more than one?" Asked Robin. I nod. 

I change the scene to when the night I found out my powers. 

7 year old y/n runs around her village giggling and laughing with her brothers Cyrus and Jake. "Where are you running off to, little wolf?" He picks her up while she giggles. "Running from you Cy." He gasps shocked. "Why on earth would you run away from me?" Jake stands next to his older brother and little sister. "Maybe because you were chasing her Cy?" he remarks. Cyrus looks at Jake rolling his eyes. "So were you, Jake" 

I look at Cyrus and Jake smiling softly. I close my eyes letting a few tears fall down my face. I wipe them away as I see the memory playing around us. I look at the others and see them watching the memory. "Dustin, why does he look like you?" Steve asks. I look at them. "That's Cyrus, my older brother. Dustin's ancestor." 

Cyrus lets y/n down and she runs into their home laughing. Cyrus and Jake smile and run after her. Y/n runs into her mothers room giggling but stops seeing a strange man holding a knife to her mothers throat. "Mommy?" y/n calls out. Her mother looks at her with wide eyes. "Y/n run!" her mother yells but she just stands there. To her mother y/n is just frozen from shock but to y/n she can feel herself getting angry. Her mother notices her sees changing color from brown to blue. "Stay away from my mommy!" she yells at the strange man. 

Cyrus, Jake, and Mia hear the commotion and run in just as y/n makes a sphere and blasts the man away from her mother. Celia, y/n's mother, falls to the ground and stares at her littlest daughter with wonder. Had she always had this power? Celia thought to herself. Y/n looks at the man who is know unconscious and her mother. "Mommy!" She runs to her mother crying. Celia hugs her daughter holding her close. "It's okay, little wolf. I'm okay." Y/n looks at her mother. "Mommy, what's wrong with me?" Celia looks at her wiping her tears "Oh princess, nothing is wrong with you. You just have a very powerful gift." Y/n looks at her mother then her siblings. Celia looks at them. "Don't tell anyone about her gifts okay? This stays between all of us." The three teens look at each other and nod. Celia stands with y/n in her arms. "Now your father will be here soon so you boys" she points to Cyrus and Jake "Take care of that man, and Mia take your sister to her room and play with her for a while." Mia nods but stops when y/n yells "No! I wanna stay with mom!" Mia looks at her mother "It's okay, I can clean up" 

I change the scenery to a field with flowers and the sun setting. "That's when I found out about my powers." I turn to face them. They are all looking at my with sympathy but most of all wonderment. "So when you saw your mom in danger you attacked the guy?" Eddie asked. I nod "Yeah, it was like me seeing her getting hurt triggered something inside that a flip just switched and in my head I knew what I had to do." I fiddle with my hands debating on whether I should tell them the rest. Steve watches my every move. Robin and Max are looking around the field and Eddie and Dustin are watching me. "Why did you change it to a field?" Robin asks. I look up at them then down at my hands again. "Because the next thing I need to show you... it broke me completely..." I look at the sun setting. "How so?" Max questioned. I look at them "it was the night..." I close my eyes hesitating "the night my village was slaughtered.." I change the scenery to the night I died. 

18 year old y/n in the woods, getting stabbed, killing an innocent, triggering her curse, running to her village. Everyone was slaughtered, blood everywhere, running to her home once she transformed back to human she sees her family slaughtered. 

I close my eyes not being able to relive this moment. I turn away wiping away the tears that escaped. I lift my arm revealing a blue hue in my hand and open my eyes changing the scenery back to the shed, back to reality. I look down at my hands felling my eyes go back to brown. 

No one said anything. Not for a few minutes at least. "You killed someone?" Steve asked. "Steve.." Dustin warned him. "Maybe she had a reason..?" Dustin looks at me. "Right?" 

"Dustin, she killed someone. I'm sorry about your village and your family but killing someone? That can't be justified." Even though I'm not facing him I can hear his voice getting higher. I stay quiet knowing he was right. "You're not even going to say anything?" he asks. "Hey man, that's enough.." Eddie warned. "I didn't have a choice, Steve." I speak quietly. "You always have a choice!" he yells. "No I didn't!" I turn to look at him "I couldn't control it them but I can now! You think I wanted to hurt her? I didn't. I would never hurt someone let alone kill. I didn't have a choice." He looks at me confused. "Control what?" 

I look at all of them. "I don't have just powers. I'm a tribrid. Three supernatural creatures in one body." They all look confused besides Eddie and Dustin who looks shocked and excited. "I was born a hybrid of a werewolf and a witch. As soon as I was 5 my mother taught me her spells and potions. What we didn't know is that I was an untriggered werewolf. Meaning that my curse wasn't activated." I sit down on one of the tables swinging my legs a bit. "What curse?" Max asked. 

"When you're born a werewolf you don't shift into a wolf until you trigger the curse." I look down at my hands "And what triggers the curse?" Dustin asks. I look up at him "When you kill a humans life. Whether it was an accident or on purpose. Mine was an accident." I look at Steve. "I swear I did not want to hurt her but when the man killed me I woke up as a vampire. I heard her pulse and I couldn't control it."

"Wait so how did you become a vampire?" I look at Robin who asked. "It was the scene where I died. I didn't know his name but he stabbed me with a sword and made me drink humans blood. Then I died and woke up to the woman helping me. When I.. killed her.." I flinch a bit "I triggered my werewolf curse."

A/n --I know I haven't updated in so long but I just started working and I honestly forgot about the book until I read it again but I'm back now and I will try to update as much as possible and I will try to make the story a little more understandable
