both talia and lo'ak had a pep in their step the next morning as they were excited to be spending the day together. he would be teaching her more in depth about their weapons and how to use fighting skill sets- and maybe some language.

they had eaten breakfast already and were walking towards the village arsenal. it was on the complete opposite side from the tents so it was a longer walk, they didn't mind.

"what kinds of weapons do you use?" talia asked with wide eyes, curiosity brimming them.

"there's quite a bit; lots of knives, bows, spears and such. there's also slingshots, but i'm banned from them.." lo'ak grimaced as he remembered why.

she looked to him with a confused expression, "why?"

he rubbed the back of his neck, "uh, i may have accidentally hit my dad in the back of the neck. twice."

talia stared at him with her mouth agape before bursting into laughter. "how does an accident happen twice?"

"because i wasn't aiming for him- i was aiming for neteyam." he shrugged.

talia could feel her stomach tighten from how much we was laughing, "i so wish i could've seen that!"

lo'ak grinned from seeing talia laugh, it being like a melody that he wanted on repeat. she would throw her head back with a smile and he would think to himself that she's even more beautiful than the stars in the night.

"you're staring, lo." talia giggled with a wide grin as she poked him, bringing him out of the warm daze. he blinked and shook himself of his previous thoughts.

"hm? oh, sorry. anyway, we are here," he stopped and pointed at a larger tent with plenty of bustling na'vi going in and out, "it's pretty busy so we'll just grab what we need and go."

talia nodded, staying close as she followed his lead. lo'ak lifted the tents flap, walking inside to see just a few older warrior males inside. they hardly spared the younger two a glance before continuing their own private conversation.

"let's see.. we'll use a dual blade, a hunting knife, and.. a bow." lo'ak looked around at the weapon inventory and decided what to bring. his finger rested on his chin as he thought, making talia smirk at his little quirk.

"actually, neteyam has been teaching me about the bow." she hesitantly spoke from just behind him, knowing he wouldn't be happy about her confession.

he rolled his eyes, "of course he has. he knows that i'm doing weapons and he dips his grimy fingers into my lesson. skxawng." his voice dropped with annoyance.

"but i'm not very good, yet. so you can still teach me, too!" talia tried to make light of his comment, she knew he just wanted to be a good teacher.

lo'ak grabs the weapons he mentioned, even the bow. he leads her towards the forest for a more private lesson, away from any watchful eyes in the clan.
