After attaining his car from valet, Justin pulled up along the sidewalk in front of his friends. They all filed into the metallic black SRT Jeep in silence.

Justin began the long drive back to Megan's house since all the girls had planned to sleepover there. Being that Justin was the only guy of their friend group, he decided to spend the rest of the night with his male friends. It also gave him time away from Jaeliey, which is always healthy in a relationship.

"Let's address the elephant in the room," Megan said after a few minutes of awkward silence.

"Before we get into that, I need to get something off of my chest." Jaeliey turned around in the passenger seat to face Megan. "I'm so sorry that I mentioned Normani to that deranged woman back there. My filter wasn't working quick enough for me not to say what I was thinking in that moment. It's not an excuse but I think the alcohol played a major role. I didn't intend for you to get put on the spot like that by captain crazy. She really needs to seek help."

"I accept your apology, Jae." Megan said with a small smile. She knew that Jaeliey wouldn't have told her business to people that she didn't know like that unless Jaeliey was tipsy. Drinking always threw Jaeliey off her a-game: she became less logical and responsible, and more flip at the mouth and confrontational. Megan couldn't blame Jaeliey too much for her actions because she used to be that wildly drunk friend who also lacked a filter and became quite combative, even with her friends. As long as Jaeliey didn't slip up again, they'd be cool.

"But I need you to be more careful next time, especially around that coo-coo ass bitch."

"I promise. I will keep all our business in-house from here on out."

Justin glanced at Megan through the rear view mirror with a face-eating grin plastered on his face. "Why would she need to be careful Meg?"

"Don't act like you don't know," Megan stated softly, gaze fixated on her hands. Both Daren and Kaydee's eyes widened while they stared at their suddenly bashful friend.

"Ain't no fucking way."

"That's why the energy was off! I was confused at first. But now it makes perfect sense. Y'all messed with the same woman, and I'm assuming she doesn't know that yet."

"Precisely. And she can't find out. She already told Normani that she would kill her and her new bitch. And I wouldn't be surprised if she tried to get Normani fired by telling on us to be honest. She seems like the type who wouldn't want Normani to move on and be happy; she'd rather her be miserable." Megan shook her head in disapproval. She was beyond disgusted with Solána's behavior that night. It was surprising that Normani even dated the singer in the first place. They seemed to be polar opposites.

Justin's strong hands gripped the steering wheel as he drove down the highway. "Over my dead body. She won't be able to touch you, I promise you that. Who the fuck does she think she is? She can't just go around making threats like that."

"That bitch probably has like 100 different personalities, so I doubt she even knows who she is herself," Daren commented. Laughter filled the car in response to what she had said, but Daren was being dead serious. Solána seemed loopy and Daren was positive that it wasn't just because of the drinks she had consumed that night.

"How serious are you and Normani?"

"We're getting pretty serious. We are only dating each other in hopes to build towards a relationship... I also might also get her name tatted on me," Megan mumbled the last part of her sentence, knowing that her friends would scold her for it. It may sound crazy but to Megan, it made perfect sense. Regardless of what happens between her and Normani, Normani still has made a huge impact on her life as her therapist and as a lover. That impact would live with her forever, just like the tattoo. Even if they were to stop what they have going on, Megan would still have no regrets.
