The current school day ended and the twins met at their lockers.

"Alright Cody, you ready to walk home?" Zack asked.

"Yeah. I'm gonna go get my textbook from my math class and I'll meet you outside near the bus sign. Cody replied.

"Alright."

Cody turned the corner and started to walk towards his math room. He made it there and grabbed his textbook from under the desk he left it at.

"Oh hey Cody. Left your textbook, I see," his teacher said.

"Yeah. I was in a hurry when I got called out earlier."

"Not a problem. I'll see you in class tomorrow Mr. Martin."

"Okay, see you tomorrow."

Cody made his way out the room and began to move towards the door outside when someone grabbed him. Drew.

"I thought we were clear Cody. Guess not; and I will fix that." Drew said; and with that, Drew disappeared around a corner.

That was the whole encounter; it lasted a mere 8 seconds. It left Cody paused in time. He quickly made his outside before Drew decided to come back.

"You ready to go Cody? His brother asked.

"Yeah. Let's go."

When Zack and Cody made it back to the Tipton, Zack ran into Avery. It was her last day here before she left. Cody made his way up to the suite.

"Hiiiiiii Zack," she said.

"Hey Avery, what's up?" Zack asked.

"I was wondering if I could come over to your suite later? Cody's Mozzarella sticks and Jalapeño poppers were wonderful," she exclaimed.

"Well sure! I can have my brother whip up Baked Alaska if you want me to!"

"That would be great!" Avery said.

"Awesome! 7 o'clock?"

"That would be great Zack," Avery said. She leaned to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Bye Zack," she said as the went to meet some of her friends.

Zack went upstairs to go and tell Cody. He hopped out the elevator and walked to his suite, opening the door.

"Cody! Avery's coming over again!" He yelled.

Cody was sitting on the couch reading Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, for his advanced english class.

"That's great Zack," he returned.

"I was wondering if you felt like cooking today, Chef Cody." Zack said.

"I can but I'm gonna finish my book first."

"Sounds good to me," Zack said as he walked over to his brother; that was when he noticed the bruise on his elbow from a few days before.

"Hey uh, Cody?"

"Yeah Zack?"

"No one is messing with you―er, i mean like picking on you at school; right?"

"No."

Zack sat on the couch next to him and turned his brother so they were looking eye to eye.

"The last time I've seen you trip and fall was 4 weeks ago when you tried dancing to be partners with Max for the Go Dance USA competition. And as unathletic as you are Cody, you're not one to just trip and fall. Plus, why would you be running, by yourself?"
