Christine Clarke is a 35-year old tailor who hasn't had so much luck in the search of the love of her life. On the other hand, there's news that torments her: a criminal abuses and kills women very similar to her.
One day, one of her friends propose...

"Hey! Christie!"
The voice of her best friend brought her back to the place.
"What's up?"
"I was talking to you and you didn't take your eyes off your computer. Didn't we say no work while we're having an afternoon snack?"
"I wasn't working..." said Christin, while she grimaced, and she turned her laptop for her friends to see what she was reading. "Another woman has been murdered... you know, another one who looks like me.
Her friends looked each other with their eyes wide opened, horrified. None was able to talk and Christine herself was the one who broke the silence.
"I'm sorry... I know I shouldn't be so stuck to the news... What were you talking about, Edythe?"
"Please Christie, you have all the rights to get information about those things... specially considering the circumstances. I just wanted to amuse you a little bit, but I'm conscious that isn't easy."
Christine, Edythe and Carlie were sat down by the central island of the kitchen of Edythe's home. Christin had powered on her laptop to turn music on in the background while she talked to her friends, but internet and its recommendations took she to that tragic and worrying news.
"I can't be thinking about this constantly... Tell me, what were you talking about?"
"About I have got you a date!" Carlie took part, finally.
"A date...?" Christine said, insecure. "I don't know..."
"You have to go! I think this is the right one and you won't have that fear to what could happen, because I do know him."
Christine looked at her with her eyebrows raised and, for once in a while, took a sip of her coffee. It was nearly cold.
"Really?" she inquired. "Who is it?"
Christine didn't even bother to ask if she knew him too, she knew it was highly unlikely that it was the case. In fact, practically the only person close to Carlie that she knew was Edythe and because Christine had met her before, at school.
Christine was an anonymous person, a little introvert and who jealously guarded her privacy from the fame her two friends had: Edythe had become an influencer making fashion and make up videos on social media—though she was already known, since she was the daughter of the owner of a famous chain of hotels—, while Carlie had a successful career as a model. For the time being, Christine hadn't attended to modelling events beyond the catwalks to support her friend and as for Edythe, she had shown her once in a video, one day Christine was sewing a dress for her in her place.
"His name is Ellis. He's a photographer. We've worked together more than once. He's so handsome and cute, you'll like him!"
"A photographer?", repeated Christine. "And why would he want to be with someone like me?"
