34. Just One Day 💜

Day 1 after Jungkook came back to Korea:

JUNGKOOK'S POV:

I think she has not been back here since the other day when she got drunk and wasted.

She didn't bother to remove all the bottles she completed.

This stinks. I scrunched my nose at the sight.

But she said she can't handle alcohol right? That's why she called me and has done all the weird stunts.

God, to clean all these, it's going to be a hassle.

And soon I started cleaning the bottles which were abandoned.

I miss her. I want to see her. But I shouldn't meet her now.

I will definitely do something unholy.

Let's get out of here as soon as possible.

I left the cafe after cleaning everything.

Day 2 after Jungkook came back to Korea:

I am not sure whether I am here again because I like the view here and I want to spend some time here in silence.

Or I am here because I miss her and hoping to run into her coincidentally like before.

But I hope she won't be here today too, like yesterday.

I really want to spend some time here and enjoy the view.

I remember when she said this was her old house.

I became curious and decided to explore the cafe and also her once home.

I went to the back of the cafe.

"I thought it was an exaggeration when Mr. Collins said that she is the exact younger version of her grandmother, he is totally right. Her grandmother is really beautiful just like her", I said to no one with a broad smile, when I saw a photograph while looking around the place.

I am able to hear someone's voice but this is familiar.

Don't tell me she is here.

God, I can't avoid her when she is around me.

"But why the hell is she screaming? I can never predict her", I almost yelled and worried because of her screams from the cafe.

I went to see the owner of the voice.

JUNGKOOK'S POV ends.

Present:

"You didn't say anything that you would be here. What are you doing here?" I asked him and it came out as a whisper.

Freeing myself from his grip, moving away from him, maintaining a healthy distance, I came out of his warm embrace.

Its not warm anymore. It was hot enough to burn both of us alive.

I didn't mean to offend him with my gesture but I did because I can see the sudden darkness formed in his doe eyes.

"I came here yesterday too. I hope you remember that I can come here whenever I want to enjoy the view from here, like you said. So I am here", Jungkook's voice is stern and he is avoiding eye contact.

"Why didn't you reply to my message that day?", I am sounding impatient and irritated.

"Leave it. You came here yesterday and didn't bother to let me know. So you are planning to leave today too?" I smirked at the realization.

"If I didn't come here, I would have never known that you came here", the realization of him avoiding me hit me hard and this made me teary-eyed.

"Yeah, I thought to stay for 15 to 20 minutes more and then leave", Jungkook placed his hands in his pockets and looked at me.
