Analise shut her eyes, allowing Rae'Lynn to glue false lashes onto her eyes. After about ten seconds, Analise opened her eyes and blinked a few times. It'd been a while since she put on lashes or any other makeup for that matter. She hadn't really pampered herself in a while, so it felt good to get pretty.
The day before they went for their nails, toes, waxes, and massages. Rae'Lynn insisted that Analise was already acting like a mom by not leaving the house much, so she took her out on a girls day. Analise appreciated it because she needed it more than she thought. It took a large weight off of her shoulders and allowed her to relax.
When Analise got pregnant, she worried how it would change her friendships. Most of the time she went out with Rae'Lynn or Kenzo, it involved partying, smoking, and drinking. With the baby, Analise couldn't do any of the above, leaving her to worry they would drift apart when the baby came. Analise soon realized both of her friends found things she could do, so they could spend time together. That not only eased her anxiety, but also showed her how loved she was by the people around her.
With the pregnancy, Analise needed all the love she could get. Some days were harder than others, but she managed to push through for the sake of the baby. Analise never realized how hard the healing thing would be. However, she could see a slight change in herself as far as getting through and dissecting everything she'd been through.
"You look so pretty, boo," Rae'Lynn squealed with a grin.
"You think so?" Analise asked, staring back at herself in the mirror.
"Yes. I don't know what you're stressing about, girl. It's Dthang," she assured.
"Yeah, but we decided to do the whole 'no-contact' thing while he was away. We haven't spoken in weeks."
"Has he reached out for today?"
"Yes. He said he would come pick me up at and to pack something to stay the night. I can't fit anything he has at his house."
Analise and Daniel continued to fall through with their agreement of not getting back together until they sat down and talked. Their date was planned for tonight and would determine if their relationship would come to an end or reignite. During the time Daniel spent on tour, he and Analise also chose to not speak to each other. It was a suggestion Analise made, and though Daniel argued against it, he finally agreed. The only communication they shared was when Analise sent pictures of her stomach or videos of the heartbeat. Aside from that, it was silence between the two.
