"DO YOU HAVE all of your stuff?" scarlett asked her brother as they stood in front of the fireplace on september first.
they had been back home for just a week before they had to pack again, this time for school. scarlett would be starting her sixth year, theo his seventh. all of their group—with the exception of ginny and scarlett—were seventh years. despite their almost two year age difference, they were still able to hang out together with the same friends.

"i missed you, you bitch!" pansy called out once scarlett and theo arrived at their compartment.
"you saw her two days ago," theo shot a look at the black haired girl.
"who cares? she's my soulmate, i'll die if i don't see her for log enough!"
"i love you too pans," scarlett replied, taking her usual seat beside draco.
"hi, red," draco whispered, just loud enough for the two of them to hear.
"hi, my dragon" scarlett rested her head on his shoulder.
draco and scarlett has always been close. as children, she'd follow him and her brother around all of them time. it bothered theo to no end, but draco never minded and always made sure she was included. over the years, their closeness had always remained; he was a man of little words, but he always made sure he conveyed his affection by touching her in some way. their friends always noticed their closeness, hence why they believed that the two were in a relationship and would end up together. this, too, bothered theo, but neither of them really cared.
once they were about thirty minutes from hogwarts, they all parted way to change into their robes. hermione, ginny, harry, and ron were all gryffindors and draco, blaise, theo, pansy, and daphne, slytherins. the only one in neither house was scarlett, who was sorted into hufflepuff. everyone liked to think that the hufflepuff was the glue that held their group together.
