Part 154~ Surprises

I've done a little time skip, so it's about a year later, the twins are 13, in eighth grade. Kazuyo is almost 11, and in sixth grade. And Kaito is about 6, in kindergarten! Shoyo and Tobio are almost 30 now btw(I can't believe that🥲)

Shoyo smiled, looking up at Tobio who was cooking dinner.

The twins and Kazuyo were at friends houses, and Kaito is with Tatsuya and Aiko. So it was just the couple for tonight.

The couple ate some brunch, and then just relaxed on the couch for a bit.

"Hey Tobio" Shoyo said, making the other look at him with a hum.

"Can we go out for a bit? Maybe a walk down in the park?" Sho said, smiling when Tobio nodded.

The couple got ready, and just changed into some comfortable athletic wear.

They ended up matching, both wearing a simple pair of black sweatpants, and a black athletic top.

Shoyo threw on a light sweater over his top, since it was around spring time it was warm enough to go for a nice walk, but still cool out.

He grabbed a cross body bag as well, and disappeared for a moment, grabbing a couple things he needed to bring with them.

Tobio just grabbed his keys, wallet and phone, and once Shoyo was done, they headed out.

It was a nice walk down to the park, a cool breeze, paired with the warm air really made a nice environment to go outside in.

They walked into town for a bit, grabbed some coffee before heading down to the park.

They bumped into Yachi and Kiyoko, who were out with their newborn daughter. It was nice to see them both after not seeing each other for a while.

The couple decided to eat dinner out, so they went to their favorite local ramen place, and ate.

It was nice for the two of them to just be out by themselves. It's been a long time, the kids have for sure been keeping them busy.

The twins were exactly alike, yet completely different at the same time. Hanako is extremely energetic, always going on about her volleyball team, and upcoming games, while Harumi is more reserved and focuses more on school, and ice skating.

Kazuyo is still a bit shy, and definitely a mama's boy. He always goes to Shoyo when he just wants some comfort, or even just to hang out for a bit. It's so sweet how caring he is towards everyone around him.

Kaito is quiet, and takes after Tobio quite a bit, not just looks, but personality as well. Everyone says that they look identical, especially as Kaito is getting older. It's always funny to Shoyo when he watched the two together, and they have some of the same mannerisms. Kaito tends to follow Tobio around a lot, wanting to do whatever he's doing.

The couple couldn't be happier with their family, but they still find it important to get this time for themselves, to focus on their relationship and make sure they're still communicating throughout all the chaos they come across.

  They were at the restaurant for a little bit, then decided to finally make their way down to the park.

It was a super nice walk, they enjoyed looking at the blossoming cherry trees, and beautiful scenery.

They got down to a small lake, where there were a few park benches surrounding, and a little dock.

You could see the mountains in the distance, and the city that lined the seashore. A truly beautiful sight.

They sat down on one of the park benches, and just took in the fresh air, and cool breeze.

"Hey Tobio" Shoyo said after a moment of silence between the two.

Tobio hummed and looked down at him, giving a soft smile.

"I have something to show you" Sho said, reaching into his bag, pulling out a small box.

Tobio raised a brow, and took the box as Shoyo handed it off to him.

He sat it down on his lap, and carefully opened it.

Shoyo watched as Tobio stared down at what was inside, making him panic internally for a moment.

Tobio looked up, tears pricking at the corners of his eyes. "Are you serious?" He said.

Shoyo just teared up and nodded, a split second later and he was engulfed in a hug from Tobio.

Inside the box, was a tiny pair of baby slippers, and a ultrasound photo that had a time stamp from last week.

"We're having another pup" Shoyo chuckled, hugging Tobio tight as they welcomed one another in the warm embrace.

"We're gonna have another pup" Tobio smiled, pulling away, then brining Shoyo in for a kiss.

I would like to apologize for the really late updates. For some of you guys who have been with me for a while, may remember that I went on a break for a couple months a couple years ago, due to an ED that I was in treatment, then hospitalized for. Unfortunately, I have relapsed, and I'm back in treatment.

I will not have a set schedule for updating(not that I ever do anyways🤣) but I wanted to let you guys know, because you are like my family, and I love you all so much. Your truly such amazing people, and even though I don't know you personally, I do really appreciate all the love you give me.

Love you guys so much, and I can't wait to update again❤️
