Getting Into The Team.

Arlo look at the boy that he had seen on the bus.

Of course he notice how Lucian stop and just keep looking at vincent like some pervert. 'who was the one who said to act as if they werent interest?' he thougth as he roll his eyes.

Arlo punch Lucian arm and before the other could react he said "hey vincent!" he wave at the boy.

Lucian wanted to curse but he couldnt when he heard his friend calling the other's name. He froze and for a moment he didnt knew what to do. Even more when he notice the other looking at them. He could even hear his own heart beating really fast.

It was obviouse to Arlo that vincent didnt knew who he was. He had never had contact with the other male before and the only thing that they had in common was that they both were on this program.

"hi?" vincent recognize them from the bus but that was the first time he had seen this two boys. Even more Arlo he couldnt belived he had never seen this boy with such an eye catching red hair. His eyes fell on Lucian and he could sense how the boy in front of him froze. He had made eye contact with him before, but everytime the other look uncomfortable.  Maybe he did something that made the boy mad without realizing.

Arlo look at the boy looking at his friend as he smile more. "oh you must not know us since we didnt really had any classes in common, but I knew you because of Emma" he said.

When vincent heard the name of that girl he frown a bit as he could still remember how annoying that girls friend was. Always trying to made him drunk so she could kiss him when they were at parties.
"Are you friends with Emma?" he had never seen this boy in emmas parties before.

When Arlo heard this he stop as he said "yeah. Something like that." he didnt wanted to admit he wasnt. He would look like a stalker.

Lucian look how uncomfortable Arlo look. And since the other was doing this for him he had to bite the bulet and made an effort to talk as well.

"we had a lot of classes in common with her"

Vincent heard the other's boy voice as he felt that it was quite nice. "oh I see."

Arlo node "since we have all got into this program lets get along"

Vincent node "sure." as he said this he soon notice that they were not moving so he said "are you trying to get into the basketball team?"

Arlo was about to answer when he sudenly heard Lucian said "yes. We are"
He roll his eyes. Who was the one who was trying to stop him from getting into this club just a few minutes ago? Damm his friend was really weak in front of a pretty face. Arlo sigh as he shooke his head sligthly.

Vincent look at Lucian who look in good shape so he node "here you need to fill this forms. I took them for two of my friends but they are still unpacking"

"thanks" Lucian said as he took the forms as he then gave one of them too Arlo.

The three of them fill them, and when they finish they all walk to the coach of the basketball team office.

The man they saw was completly different from the one in their school. This person look young and with a lot of energy. He also look fit.

The man look at them. The two first boys were in good shape so he didnt felt bad about accepting them but the last one...

The red hair boy was tall but he was really slim. His muscles must be because he didnt had any fat on his body and because of how thin he was. He looked really fragile and he wasnt sure if he would be able to survived the training. Pluss the boys in his team were really tough.

"you two are in. But I wont promise youll play. If your bad ill only let you pour water for the other players"

Arlo couldnt belived he got reject. Even Lucian was surprised he was about to say something but the man said "the team is about to start training. There are extra uniforms. Go and change." Lucian look at Arlo but the other just smile and node telling him to go out.

Lucian got out of the office with vincent but Arlo stay.

"why dont you go out?" he ask as he look at Arlo but the other didnt move. He was looking down so he couldnt look his expression right now. He could only think that the other was crying.
'oh no' he thougth as he felt this was trouble some. Thats why he didnt like to reject people it was uncomfortable when they cried.

But he soon was surprised to see that Arlo wasnt crying he look up at his eyes and said "please give me a chance. It doesnt matter if you dont let me play I just want to train. Ill pour water for the team or help you clean at the end. Please."

Coach carl sigh but he had a better impression of Arlo. He thougth for a moment until he node "Okay your in. Go and change with your friends"

"thanks coach!" he said as he got out of the office as fast as he could. He was afraid the other would regret accepting him.

When he was In that office he almost cried. But he couldnt do it. He needed to be strong to get what he wanted. He  run to the locker room where he found Lucian and vincent...
