I don't know shit about the military so the ceremony is just from my imagination so if anything is wrong, just ignore it lol. 

Y/N: Thank you for what you're doing John. 

John: I shouldn't have to be thanked for treating you equally Love. Can you tie my tie?

Y/N: I'm thanking you for helping me understand. I am so proud of how fast you noticed and changed the problem. Most men make excuses so they don't have to change things.  You not only noticed it. You fixed it as soon as you noticed.  

John: I'm proud of you for being you. 

Y/N: Those words affect me so much. 

John: What words Doll?

Y/N: I'm Proud of you. I never heard them as a kid, so now when you or Kate tell me them I feel so many emotions. But I can't cry I have makeup on and this mascara was $40. 

John: I will always tell you how proud I am of you. You have such a beautiful mind and your thought process amazes me. 

Y/N: I like your voice and scent. Gives me shivers. 

John: You are adorable. 

Y/N: Stop looking at me like that. 

John: Like what?

Y/N: Like you wanna eat me.

John: Maybe I do. Those dress blues are doing something to me. 

Y/N: Have you noticed my rank yet?

John: No! Where is it? Fuckin' hell you're a Captain?

Y/N: I am. Why do you think Kate said I can give and take orders?

John: I don't know, but you changed the subject.

Y/N: How'd I do that?!

John: I said maybe I wanted to eat you and you asked about your rank. 

Y/N: Well captain, if you can get these dress pants off and back on within fifteen minutes you can have me. 

John: I can do it in ten Love.

I'm playing a game I know he won't win. Kate will be here any minute because, in reality, the ceremony starts in about ten minutes. I plan on making this night agonizing for John. I'm going to be looking hot and I'm going to be dropping innuendos all night. 

John Lifted my legs around his hips and pushed me lightly against the wall while kissing me hastily. He bit my lip and quickly stuck his tongue in causing me to moan. He started walking backward again and he pushed me down onto the bed softly. 

Y/N: You must've been thinking about this for a long time. You're very eager. 

John: You have no idea, Darling. 

John kissed down my jaw while caressing my thighs up to the buttons on my pants. He carefully opened my pants and that's when we heard the knock on the door. John groaned into my chest and then started going to the door. I buttoned my pants back up and grabbed my hat. 

Kate: Are my two best friends Fonduing?

Y/N: Yes.

John: What's Fonduing?

Y/N: Think about it, Love. We'll continue this later. Don't forget about me, Captain.  

John: I think that's impossible, Darling. 

John gave me a quick peck on my lips and I walked off with Kate. She was wearing a really pretty blue jumpsuit. The neck showed a little cleavage and the outfit showed off her sleek figure. Her hair was in her usual bun and her neck had a pretty pearl necklace. Wait that's my necklace! She also had a gold bracelet with a ballerina charm. I also had a gold bracelet except mine had an eagle charm. 

Y/N: Lookin' Fine in that jumpsuit Kate. 

Kate: It's from your closet back in DC. 

Y/N: That's actually mine? Damn, I know how to dress. 

Kate: Also hope you don't mind but I borrowed one of your necklaces

Y/N: You know I don't mind, but did your wife see this fit? You look so good! I might take Melany up on her offer. 

Kate: Y/N! Aren't you and Price having a thing? I don't think he would appreciate you spending one of your nights with two married women. 

Y/N: He might not But I will! 

Kate: Y/N! No!

Y/N: Damn. 

We walked outside to the stage that was set up. I stood at the side of the stage near the stairs that led up to the main stage. There was a red curtain and American flags posted on each side. There was a podium in the middle that had the American eagle on the front. There were chairs in the front where various amounts of soldiers sat including my team who were in the front row. Everyone was dressed nicely and even Ghost was dressed up. I saw John fix Soap's and Gaz's ties and then take his seat in the front. I held my hand for Kate to take so she could walk up the stairs. I walked her up and then went back down to take my place. 

Kate: Suck up.

Y/N: Only for you sweetheart. 

Kate rolled her eyes and walked to the podium. She stood for a bit making sure she had everything. She fixed up her posture and image while throwing a hand signal to let people know it was starting. 

Kate: Hello everyone. My name is Kate Laswell and we are here today to honor one of the United State's best Marines. Everyone, please stand for the National Anthem. 

The music to the National Anthem played and everyone stood in attention. Once it finished everyone sat down and Kate went back up to the podium. 

Kate: This evening we will be awarding Captain Y/N L/N Three medals of honor for her intelligence, bravery, and courage. The three medals she will be receiving are as stated: Distinguished Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Medal, and lastly Prisoner Of War Medal. Captain L/N you may walk up to claim your medals. 

My breathing was uneven thinking about the Prisoner Of War Medal. I walked up the stairs slowly and walked over to Kate. She shook my hand and softly stroked my thumb trying to console my nerves about the past time when I was taken. 

Kate knew it was a touchy subject for me. This is the reason I got the tattoo on my hip, so it could hide the large red scar from the top of my thigh all the way to my hip. At this moment I could feel the hot, burning knife carving into my skin again. It made my eyes tear and my hands shake. I sniffled once and blinked away the tears while letting go of Kate's hand. 

Kate: I Kate Laswell award you these three medals with great honor and gratefulness for your dedication to your country. 

I stood straight while Kate grabbed the medals and pinned them to the left side of my chest. When she finished pinning them everyone clapped for me and my team stood up for me clapping proudly for me. Soap let out loud whistles and Gaz let out loud cheers and chants of my name. 

Kate: Now in celebration of International Women's Day, we would like for Captain Y/N L/N to give a speech. 

I walked up to the podium and took the flashcards out of my pocket. I read over the first page in my head and thought for a few seconds. I threw my flashcards behind me and fixed the mic so it was closer to my face. 

Y/N: The other day a little girl told me I was her Hero. At first, I thought it was just the uniform that gave me a hero status.  Later on that night I thought and thought about it until I realized a uniform can't kill people. A uniform can't build satellites by hand and from nothing. A uniform can't build a bomb In the middle of a battlefield, and a uniform can't have a large scar from a hot, burning knife covered in black ink that takes form of an intricate tattoo.  A shout-out to my fellow women. I would like to thank all of the women in service whose biggest battle right now is sexual assault and gender discrimination. I would like to personally thank Kate Laswell from the CIA, Amelia Auburn of the science division, Josephine Mae Lieutenant in the US Navy, Charlotte Smith Head Nurse in the infirmary, And Eden Patiya Who is overseas on the battlefront. I am Captain Y/N L/N of the US Marine Corps. We all work here. Learn our names and put respect on them because everything you do, we can do while bleeding. So Here's to strong women.
