"Mom, I'm home!"
I run up the stairs to my mothers room to find a note reading...
"My dearest Mai,
Something at the office has accured and I will have to work late today. I hope you can understand my troubles. You are the best daughter me and your father could hope for.
Sincerely, Mom
P.S. I left something for you in my closet."

"Oh Mom..."
I walk over to the closet to find my "surprise".
I spot a box wrapped poorly but lovingly in light blue tissue paper. I open it slowly and carefully, I like to saver moments like this. The paper is gone, now it's time to open the box. I lift the lid, peeking inside.
"Ugh, why am I taking my time with this! I'm not performing a surgery!"
I rip the lid of the silver box. There is a pastel, yellow sundress with a light blue ribbon.
"Mom it's beautiful!"
I was almost in tears at how pretty this dress was!
"Thank you, Mom...and Dad..."
I was in tears now, almost bawling my eyeballs out though.
"Why did you leave us Dad? Was it me or Mom? Do you just not love us anymore..."
Whenever I thought of Dad it would bring me to tears. My father left when I was seven, I'm six-teen now... That's almost ten years, nine to be exact!
I don't have many friends, I started closing my social life out when my dad left. It been like that since elementary school, middle school I had a friend but that didn't last very long.
