Shifting Maze runner

Part two

Me

My best features are my sarcastic comebacks, my empathy, jawline and ability to know exactly what to do and say when talking to people. I am also a really fast runner and have good reflexes.

My catchphrase is "well that's klunked" and "what ya know daddy-o" and "geez is it that time of the month" I only say the last one to the boys as a joke.

Friends

My friends in the Glade are all the boys especially gally, chuck, Tommy, and alby. Newt, fry and Minho are my best friends. My Glader friends understand my sense of humor and references. We became friends because/when:
        ● gally- when I box came down I was faking fainted in the corner and had a knife ready behind my back. When alby came down he did the same thing that newt did with Teresa. When he reached down to check I'm breathing I nicked his ankles with the knife and he subsequently fell. This gave me a chance to look up and saw all the boys looking down at me, at this point I am shaking so badly. Gally jumps down and I drop my knife and faint into his arms. After a week he asks why i fainted, I say it's because when I saw him I trusted him to catch me. He asks why I say "because under all his macho ness is a caring and loving teddy bear, I can see it in your eyes". He made a vow then and there to always protect me. I made him promise that he would try and show his caring side a bit more.
        ● chuck- chuck came up in the box 7 months after I did (not following the same timeline as the maze runner books). I was patching gally up when the greenie alarm went off so I missed him first coming up. I was talking to gally about what type of guy the new greenie would be. When all of the sudden I heard a scared little cry coming from the box and a bunch of boys laughing. I tell gally that I'll just be a sec and kiss him bye on the forehead. As I walk over alby starts ordering the laughing boys to leave and he will have a talk with them later (uh their in trouble) so just left are me and 12 ood graders. Ably spots me approaching and says "oh good, I was wondering were you were" he quickly leans in and whispers """help me!!". Obviously concerned by this I lol down into the box at the new greenie and see a little bit about 8 years old front in the corner. I jump down my maternal instincts kicking in and crouch on the other side of the box. I look up and tell everybody to leave and asked Jeff to ask if fry could make 2 cheesy toasties. Once the boys were a safe enough distance away you run back to the little boy and study him closer. His eyes sparkles with his tears, he was a bit on the chubby side, smelt kind of bad and was holding a cross necklace. I slowly crawled next to him and stuck my hand out "I'm charlotte, do you remember you name", he sniffles and says I don't remover than bursts into more tears. "Hey baby it's okay, let's make a deal" this gets his attention "if you come with me and I get you all nice and washed up I will officially give you an awesome name"  he laughs "deal he says". I said hug him. I w quickly grab a my flannel shirt and tell him that's what all the cool people do, I don't know why but I had already formed a bond with thing scared little boy, I would hate for anything it happen to him. We walked to the medieval but and before I went in with the new boy I told him to wait outside and told gally that the new boy was only a baby and had klunked himself. I asked him if he would help the boy get dressed and cleaned up as it might be a bit inappropriate for me to. Gally agreed knowing that this will earn him brownie points. Once the boy was all cleaned up he came up to me while I was sorting the supplies in the box, as he walked over gally started making him laugh and I noticed he had the cutest little chuckle. That gave me an idea, I grabbed the plank of wood I had been dragging around specifically for this occasion and called the giddy little boy over. I told him to kneel in front of his queen. In that moment I felt complete ; hanging out with my new baby glader and having gally (my boyfriend) with his hands around my waist. I lift up the plank of wood and gently knight him and say "you will hereby be known as knight chuckles or Chuck for short.
        ● alby- I unfainted later that day at night so we had to have the bonfire then. Newt offered to give me the tour as alby was probably a bit pissed at me. Once newt brought up that I cut alby really deep, I instantly felt horrible. I made it my mission to find him at the bonfire. I found him talking with fry so I asked if I would quickly talk to alby in private for a second. I told him that I felt so bad and never meant to hurt him I was just scared and confused. He told me "don't worry little she-bean, it's all good at least you didn't vomit all over me like Winston did. And don't tell him I told you that. You should go get dinner now but I will see you tomorrow at the meeting when we decide some new rules now you are here.". From then on alby was like a respectable older brother, I would joke around with him but I know that he takes being first in command seriously so I try not to get in the way of that.
        ● Frypan- when I arrived at the glade fry wasn't called fry everyone called him siggy, I was the one that called him frypan as that was what I called him when I didn't know his name cos he was holding a frypan at the time. Fry wasn't there when I came up in the box so he didn't know that there was a girl and got the fright of his life when I shyly asked him if I could get some food (I missed lunch), I also said I could make it is it was easier for him. That made him instantly like me. I am one of the only people in the glade that truly understands how much work he puts in, so I always help at bonfires and I am the only non cook that is aloud to make what I want and just hang in there if I want. Me and the other med jacks are aloud to sleep in later then all other people as we aren't usually needed so early. So when I got up I would make a late breakfast (cheese toasties or bacon and eggs) for all the other medjacks is I would also make enough for the cooks and make sure that they at least eat two each. I always clean up so extra frypan brownie points.
