Sebastian's POV//
Ominis had just finished telling me what him and Poppy discovered. I knew there was something wrong with what happened- I think I'd just been too angry in the moment to see it.
I thought I was angry then, but right now I was absolutely livid.
I knew y/n, and I needed to find her before she did something without thinking about it first.
Sure, I wanted to get my revenge on the wenches that did this to her, but we needed to be smart about it. We couldn't just barge in and start swinging, or we'd get in more trouble afterwards than they were with the potions in the first place.
I still felt odd about our few days of radio silence- I only wish I wasn't so broad headed and actually tried to talk to her. I wanted to know exactly what they'd said to her that hurt y/n that much. Me? I was just angry with them about it, but y/n looked like her entire world had been shattered.
I was closest to the library so I checked there first, which is where I found Poppy.
"Poppy, did you tell her?" I asked.
"Yes, and she just left, she didn't tell me where she was going, but by the look on her face, I don't think it's anything good," she replied, just about as frantic as me.
"Well we've got to find her before she does something that'll get her expelled," I said with a sigh.
Poppy and I left the library and started to head down to the Hufflepuff commons, where we'd hopefully find y/n.
Y/n's POV//
I approached the Hufflepuff dorm entrance and did the knock on the barrel, and it opened up. There was only one thing on my mind right now, and it was to cause harm to the ones that did this. I knew I was being irrational, but I didn't care. If they mess with Sebastian, then they deserved what was coming. And to think- Lenora wanted him, wanted to take him from me, and she'd chosen probably the coldest way possible she could think of to split us apart. The thought of Sebastian hearing the same words I thought he'd said to me on my birthday tore me up inside, imagining what his face must've looked like. That man has been through so much already. He didn't deserve this.
I stomped up to a random Hufflepuff in the commons; they all looked startled to see me barging in like this, but I didn't care.
I grabbed the Hufflepuff by their tie and pulled their face close to mine. "Where's Lenora and that little bitch friend of hers?" I spat. They were taken aback, but pointed me to the direction of the dorms.
"T-they're in their r-room," they stuttered. I let go of the student and angrily strode over to the dorms. I started pushing doors open at random with my wand drawn, scanning every room for their faces. Startled students stared back at me as I slammed the doors open, but I didn't care. I was on a mission, and I wasn't about to stop until I found them.
I finally opened one of the rooms and found the two of them sitting on a bed together. They jumped up upon seeing me.
"W-what do you want?" Adelaide stuttered. Lenora stood there silently with a look of fear on her face.
Yes, Lenora, you should be very afraid of me right now.
I lost one of my best friends because of you.
I lost sleep because of you.
I lost so much in just a few days, all because of you and your silly and selfish actions.
when the bitch finally spoke, it came out in jumbled pieces. "L-look, y/n, we were only kidding around, we didn't m-mean-"
"Depulso!"
I launched them back at the wall, and they both hit with a thud.
"Please don't kill us," whimpered Adelaide, putting her hands over her head.
"Oh I'm not going to kill you," I grinned. "But you're going to wish you were dead when I'm done with you."
I launched a few basic casts at their feet and watched them skip around them, hugging the wall.
"We're sorry!" said Lenora. I scoffed at her words.
"You're only sorry because I figured out what you've done, and now there might actually be consequences to your actions."
"Y/n, stop!" someone yelled behind me. I whipped my head around to see Poppy and Sebastian had just come through the door. "It's not worth it, just come with us, please," Poppy spoke
I suddenly stumbled forward due to a blunt force on my back. I turned around, and Lenora had her want out. "It's plenty worth it," I mumbled. "Are you really going to try and duel me, you ignorant cunt? Please. We both know how you'd do in a fair fight."
"That's why I play dirty, y/n," she said. "We all do crazy things when we're in love, don't we?"
I noticed Adelaide was trying to draw her wand behind Lenora.
"Flipendo!" I shouted, pointing my wand at her. She flipped through the air a few times and landed face first on the floor.
"Y/n," Sebastian whispered into my ear. "Please, just come with us." He put his hands on my shoulders, which I tried to fling off, but he had a tight grip on me. I fought his grasp, but he wrapped his arms around me and dragged me back.
"Sebastian, let go of me!" I cried out. I was still seething with anger, but I could feel tears starting to moisten my eyes. Lenora was still watching me with a dirty look on her face as Sebastian dragged me out.
He dragged me all the way out of the dorm and out into the common room. Poppy followed, giving me a sympathetic look as I was dragged by Sebastian. He finally let go once there was some distance between me and that room, and moved me around to face him.
"Why did you stop me?" I yelled angrily. "They deserved it!"
"Y/n," He said, wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me close. I felt a tear slip down my cheek. "Please, let's just get out of here. And trust me, I want revenge too, but not like this," he whispered, looking directly into my eyes. I could see hurt in them, proof that he felt the same as I did right now- he'd always been better at hiding it than I was, but I always noticed.
I let him lead me out of the Hufflepuff common room. He'd told Poppy to give us a minute alone, and she didn't follow us as he took me to the Undercroft. Once we were inside, he finally let go of me.
