I couldn't fall back asleep after that.

I didn't really try, but I didn't want to go back to sleep regardless. I felt like I would never be able to get over my sleep deprivation if I kept getting the nightmares.

It's been years now, and they just won't stop.

The next morning, I met Sebastian in the commons, as we'd planned to head into Hogsmeade to see if anyone knew anything about the men from the cave.

We were disappointed to find out that nobody did. It seemed that they weren't from the area, or someone would know something, but there was just nothing.

For the next week, I pushed whatever plots they were planning out of my head in order to focus on classes. I had a few quizzes this week, so I needed to be prepared. Sebastian and I took to the library for most of our extra time, with Ominis, Poppy, and Natty sometimes joining us. I almost wished I hadn't participated in quidditch, as it was taking up a seriously good chuck of my time after classes. I did enjoy it though, and was also glad I decided to do it at the same time.

When the weekend finally came, I was full of relief. I didn't have much for homework this weekend, so I'd have lots of time to spend with Sebastian.

On Saturday morning, we decided to take a trip into Hogsmeade. We wandered around, going into all the little shops we'd never been in before. One of them was a pretty large antique and trinket shop. The shop was small on the outside, but was definitely enchanted to be bigger on the inside.

The shop's walls were lined with shelves full of jewelry, clothing, and everything else you could imagine that fit the bill. I wandered into the jewelry section while Sebastian wandered off somewhere else in the store. I looked at the shelves and cases for a few minutes until something caught my eye. It was a little sapphire pendant on a silver chain. The Sapphire itself was set in a piece of silver and the whole pendant probably measured around a half an inch long. It was dainty and elegant. As I held the little box in my hand, Sebastian came up behind me.

"Do you like that?" he asked me.

"I think it's very pretty," I replied as I looked at it.

"Let me get it for you, then."

I turned my face towards Sebastian. "That's really sweet, but I can afford it on my own," I told him.

"I don't care if you can afford it, y/n, I want to get it for you," he said, pulling the box from my hand.

'Sebastian..." I trailed off as he left me, walking towards the front counter of the store. I followed him up there and watched as he purchased it for me. I could feel my cheeks burning, as I always felt awkward when people bought me things.

Sebastian and I walked out of the shop after that. "Let me help you put it on, now," he said, with a big smile.

"Okay," I sighed. I turned my back to him and flipped my hair up and out of the way. His fingers brushed my skin softly as he clasped the necklace around my neck, sending chills down my spine.

I turned to face him. "How does it look?" I asked.

"You're beautiful," he said. His eyes were warm and he still had that huge smile on his face. "I mean, it looks good on you. Allow me to treat you more often, y/n," he chuckled.

The rest of the weekend passed by quickly.

Soon enough, we were back in class. Today, we had divination. The professor in this class was Natty's mother.

As I entered the classroom, I spotted Natty sitting near the back. I joined her at her table and greeted her with a smile. "Well hello there, friend," she said.

"Hello to you too," I said.

"I haven't had a chance to talk to you in a while," she smiled. "So... You and Sebastian, eh?"

I blushed. "Yes," I admitted.

"Well I'm glad you both finally came to your senses," Natty laughed. "Everyone could see you were crushing on each other. It was only a matter of time before it happened."

"Oh, whatever," I said. "What's been going on with you?"

"Schoolwork, schoolwork, and more schoolwork," she sighed. "My mother makes sure I take every class I can while I am here."

"And you should be thankful for the opportunities, Natty," Professor Onai interjected as she passed by behind us. I chuckled.

"Okay class," Professor Onai said, getting our attention. "Today we're going to talk about another method of divination. Dreams."

I got out a piece of parchment to take notes.

"Dreams are one of the least reliable methods of telling the future. Since our dreams tend to be crazy and full of non-realistic details, it's hard to pick out and piece together what they could mean. In your textbooks, there is a list of common dream themes, and what they might mean. I encourage you to consult this section when you wake up in the morning for practice, to see if it rings any truth."

A lot of other students flipped open their textbooks to read this section. I'd already seen it. I wasn't too fond of trying to figure out what my hell storm of dreams meant anymore.

"One of the major things to look out for in your dreams, is any mention of major arcana from tarot cards. Oftentimes these dreams can mean that they are direct messages to you about the future. But always take these messages with a grain of salt- the best way to see if they ring true is to use other methods of divination and ask questions about the futures you see in your dreams."

I thought back to my weird dream a few nights ago.

What was it that the voice had called himself? Justice?

I raised my hand. "Yes, Miss y/n," Professor Onai called on me.

"Is 'Justice' a major arcana?" I asked. I wasn't too familiar with tarot, but the name of the voice from the dream was stuck in my head.

"Yes," she said, raising her eyebrows. "Did you hear this mentioned in a dream?"

"Yes," I admitted. She thought about this for a moment before asking me another question.

"Would you mind describing the dream, so that we could use it for an example for the class? You don't have to, if you're not comfortable."

"I can share some details, but I can't tell all of them," I said. I wouldn't tell the class about the fact that I'd witnessed myself using dark magic again.

I described the part where I was in the dark room and heard the voice, who addressed himself as 'Justice' as he spoke to me, and what he had said about the path I was on. Said I was dragging others down with me.

"Then, he showed me something," I said. "It almost looked like I was viewing a memory in a  pensieve, but I was watching myself, and I know for a fact that what I saw has never happened."

"This very well could be a message to you," Professor Onai said. "One of the many meanings of the justice card is judgement, and the righting of wrongs- the other, is that you might soon be faced with a choice."

I went silent. I most definitely would not tell her what I'd seen.

"But, like I said, take this with a grain of salt. Ask questions about what you saw using other divination methods."

With that, class was over. Now, I had a whole lot of stuff to think about.

What if my dreams meant something, all along?
