"I never meant for you to do that!" John says "it was either him or you hopefully I made the right choice!" Arminda replies with a ending tease he chuckles she reaches a hand down to him as she teases "I told you you shouldn't have worn the cologne it attracts all sorts of people!" he laughs just then the doorbell rings "I'll answer it" he says she nods "leave the bodies" he says as he walks towards the front door she chuckles softly which makes him smile and as he was answering the door she was heading to her bathroom to take a shower.... "John! your reservation has arrived!" John hears Arminda call out and he walks upstairs from the basement and over to the front door.... "we really need a com system!" Arminda whispers to Charlie who chuckles and she lets him and his boys inside with a wave of her hand "you look good and here I'd fear you'd left all this behind.... not sure if the housekeeper's a good idea though!" Charlie says to John as he passes him "she's Aurelio's sister" John replies Charlie raises a eyebrow at him "yeah I don't see it either!" John says Charlie chuckles "I figured he was friend more than foe" Arminda says softly as she walks over to John who looks at her then replies "yes, thank you" she shrugs then says "that's my job isn't it?!.... I do wonder what he'd say when he finds out I helped.... didn't kill but....!" he chuckles "they are professionals right!? cause I am NOT cleaning up after them!" she asks after a short pause he laughs.... about a half an hour later Charlie and his guys were finished and John walks him to the door "will I be hearin from you anytime soon?" Arminda and John walk into the Continental and over to the front desk where a tall black man in a suit stood "are you sure this is wise!?!" Arminda whispers softly to John "I'm not letting you out of my sight!" he whispers back through his teeth then whispers softly "I need to know you're at least safe and you will be safe here" a corner smirk slides up her lips and she whispers "well they better have a room with two beds!" he lets out a short soft chuckle his eyes wide and he whispers "is that what you're worried about!?!" she replies "I'm just not sure how we'll explain our situation and I wouldn't want to have anyone disrespect your wife's memory by thinking other things so maybe a attached room instead" he smiles then whispers "we'll figure something out" she nods then they hear the man behind the counter say to the dark haired woman with a ugly possibly fake fur coat with a deep lilting Kenyan accent "room 918 do enjoy your stay" and the woman reply softly as she takes her keycard from him "thanks" she turns then walks towards John and Arminda her eyes wander Arminda with a scowl on her lips then she smiles at John and says "good seeing you again, John" then she continues to walk away as John says "Perkins" John and Arminda walk towards the front desk and the man behind the counter says to John as he looks at the computer "I have you for two nights" Arminda takes John's suitcase from him as he replies "depending on business it may be more" he pauses then says as he looks at Arminda "I did explain my guest?!" the man replies with a smile as he looks at Arminda "yes, a pleasure Miss" Arminda bows her head and says "Arminda D'amiano" the man raises a eyebrow at her then introduces himself "Charon" she asks "the ferryman of Hades?!" he smiles then says "the one and the same" John says to Charon "I'd like a adjacent room for the two of us" Charon looks at him and replies "of course, sir, one has already been prepared" John asks "so when did the old place get a facelift?" Charon replies "around four years ago but I assure you, sir she really hasn't changed much" John asks "same owner?" Charon replies "same owner" John slides two gold coins along the counter and Charon takes them then hands John the keycards as he says "room 818 and 820" John nods then takes his suitcase back from Arminda and leads her towards the elevator he stops when he hears Charon say "and, as always, it is a pleasure having you with us again, Mr. Wick" John turns and looks at the tall dark skinned man as he speaks then continues on his way taking Arminda with him "nice to meet you Charon" Arminda says as she turns her body and waves at the concierge "you as well Miss D'amiano" Charon replies with a smile....
