You smiled at the success of what seemed like a perfect day. But tomorrow could be even better. An adventure was coming and you couldn't wait. And as your eyes sleepily started closing... You fell asleep easily with no troubles. The day was over, sleeping with a family with lots of love, you felt in the right place...

You wake up, you felt confused as you looked around at your surroundings. Amid the darkness, you saw a small lamp illuminating the room just enough for you to see Ford sleeping soundly across from you. You sleepily get up, feeling refreshed. You walk into the kitchen as you sat on a chair.

You sit there for a while before looking outside the window to see the sunlight just barely shine in the pure black darkness. You hear loud footsteps come from the previous room, "Good morning Y/N. How did you sleep?" Ford tiredly announced as he was cleaning his glasses. "Eh, I guess I slept fine..." You thought to yourself. "What about you?" You politely question Ford back. "I had a nightmare where there was a mission I was on but forgot all of my supplies." Ford chuckled lightly as you did too. What kind of nightmare was that? "Anyway, the rain seemed to disappear. I think today we will have the ability to do what we planned..." You yawned as Ford smiled. "Great! I guess I'll make myself some breakfast then," He stretched.

You look at him with a smile, "Would you like me to make the breakfast?" Ford looked at you confused, "You know how to?" You raise your eyebrow at him, "I know how to make some pancakes..." Ford stared at you, then smiled, "Okay then, would you like me to help?" You thought about it, "Yeah sure! Only if you want to..."

You get up from your seat and saw the kitchen. You walk over to the fridge and open it, though you needed some force to do that. You look to see if there were enough ingredients for pancakes. Milk. Eggs. Butter. Flour in the pantry... That should be enough... As you start preparing the ingredients, you saw Ford begin making coffee. "Oh! Can you make me a cup too, please?" You say happily, trying to sound nice and not too demanding. Ford turned to you as he questioned you, "You drink coffee, Y/N?" You think of what to say, to not sound weird, "On the occasion I do..." Ford sighs, "I'll make myself some black coffee, what about you?" He turns back to the coffee maker. You look at the milk that was sitting next to you. "I guess me too... Just put some sugar in it. If I'm going to make pancakes for everyone there won't be enough milk for my coffee." As you explained to Ford, he glanced at you, "I have coffee creamer..." You look back at him and smiled, "Ooh, that would be great... Thank you!" Ford smiled back at you.

You already made 6 pancakes, and 8 more to go... You decided to make 2 pancakes for each person, and if there were any left you could save them for leftovers. "Ooh, Gosh..." You exclaimed as you tried to flip the pancake but it wasn't looking good. "Want me to help?" Ford asked nicely. "Oh, yeah, flipping pancakes is hard. That would be very helpful, thanks." You step back and Ford grabs the handle...

As soon as he was done, you set out some plates. You grab the maple syrup and the strawberry jam to set out, so you don't have to get it later. As you were about to set the jam on the table, Mable and Dipper drowsily walk in. "Hey, Mabel! Hello Dipper!" You exclaim happily and look up to see them. Mabel sniffs the air aggressively, "Do I smell... PANCAKES!?" Mabel jumps from excitement, as all the signs of her just waking up disappeared. Dipper's eyes widen at the sight, "Oh, wow." He simply says. They sit on their chairs, you realized you were sitting on Mabel's chair... No wonder it had glitter on it... "Did Grunkle Ford help you make the pancakes?" Mabel asked. You glanced back at Ford, turned back to Mabel, and chuckled, "He helped me flip the pancakes..."
