"How amazing! It looks just like me!" Julie beamed as she stared at the colored canvas.

"Me next, me next!" Sally jumped in joy as she begged for a portrait of herself as well.

You had barely just finished a portrait of Julie, and after being sat at the top of a hill for so long, more and more of your fellow neighbors came to watch the progress.

"Now, now. Give them some time to relax, I'm sure that portrait took ages." Poppy cautioned.

"It's fine, I can work on another right now."

Poppy nodded and placed her wing across your shoulder and side hugged you, "Alright, just don't overwork yourself.."

It was sweet to have someone worrying about you, though Poppy always wished for everyone's safety in the neighborhood.

"Shall I strike a pose?"

You chuckled as Sally posed in front of your easel, you handed Julie her painting in which she stared at it in awe, "Thank you again, it's wonderful!"

"Of course!"

Placing a now fresh canvas onto the easel, you began your magic.

"Well, if it isn't Wally. Where have you been?" Frank questioned as he looked up from the flower he was inspecting with a magnifying glass.

You turned to noticed the man himself, Wally, walking up the hill.

"No where. I noticed everyone here." He stated, turning to you sat at your easel and Sally posing in front of you. He put two and two together and a light amazed expression appeared on his face.

"Wow, you paint as well?" He sounded so happy, having another neighbor that had something in common with him was exciting. You two could paint together, though bringing his own easel would be such a hassle. What a shame.

"I suppose so." You chuckled, thinking it was obvious you painted when you had everything out in front of you.

"Quiet now, Wally! I'm being a muse!!"

"Ah.." Wally quieted down, simply standing beside you to watch you paint. Being a bit too close. It wasn't the first time someone was in your personal bubble while you painted, so you were quite use to it.

You dipped your brush into the yellow paint and began to shape out Sally's figure in her elegant pose, you giggled as she tried to keep herself still.

Poppy, Julie, Wally,— and sorta Frank, all watched as your brush flew across the canvas, occasionally dipping into other colors and mixing all types of shades. It felt so calming.

Poppy sat beside Julie as they looked at both you painting and the Julie portrait you had finished, complimenting it and saying how they loved how all the colors worked together.

Frank sometimes glanced at your canvas, impressed on how from one minute of looking away and looking back showed so much progress. He'd admit, some of the colors didn't match well in the background, using blues and reds, but if it'd end up as good as your other painting, then he'd trust the process.
