Arthur and I were currently flying on top of Sylvie as we had just left the battlefield and were making our way to the Floating Castle after our tragic fight with the Scythe Cadell. I thought it was a pretty good fight though.

I didn't get totally whooped, well, sort of, I did break a couple bones, get tossed like a rag doll, and forced into retreating, but still. good fight. Arthur and Sylvie couldn't really help, he was still in silver core, and Sylvie just began her process of awakening her true powers, so she was still somewhat weak.

"You good, Veer?" Arthur asked as I sat in front of him on Sylvie.

"Yeah, perfect." I answered sarcastically. "Let's not tell our parents that I got snapped like a twig." I shook my head as the wind hit my face, Sylvie wasn't going super fast for some reason.

"I agree." Arthur replied, paused, and then continued. "Let's talk."

That's why Sylvie wasn't going fast, this was the perfect time for us to chat. "About me being a reincarnate?"

"Yes." We were above the clouds; it was so calming up here. "So, what was your name back on Earth?"

"Luke." I answered honestly, not needing to hide anything anymore. "I know yours, Grey, King Grey, actually, mind me asking a question?"

"Go ahead."

"What was it like being a King? I've heard stories, but I want to hear it from you." I was curious, I knew that if I had a choice, I would want to be a King of a country.

"It was...tough." He answered. "I had my reasons, I stuck to those reasons, in the end I might not have gotten what I wanted, but I'm happy now with you and our family."

"If I remember correctly, it was because of someone named Wilbeck, the person who ran the orphanage you grew up in." There was no need to hold anything I knew back, I was planning on telling him everything, it was time he knew.

"Yes...Veer how do you know about all of this?" Arthur was confused, which was completely fine. "I don't remember knowing any Lukes in my past life."

"Arthur, what I am about to tell you might blow your mind, and, actually, now that I think about it, you might be mad at me, maybe not." I scratched my chin with my good arm, then went on. "So, if I am right, this is some multiverse shit, or something similar, because you are from Earth, and I am from Earth, but I am from a different one. I don't know how the damn science works, like I told you, I was ten when I died, I've never been an adult."

"You are from a different Earth?" Arthur asked, there was no other way to describe it.

"Yes."

"Okay, okay, I get that, sort of, but that doesn't explain how you know about me."

"Shit!" I spoke. "Sylvie, hold up." We froze in the air, flying in one place. "I just remembered something; this will go with your question." I spun around and faced my brother. "Arthur, this is somewhat difficult to say, but in my world, I want to say this world, but realistically, it's your life, in my world your life is a novel, a legit novel, it follows your journey in this world."

"What?!" Arthur exclaimed, utterly shocked.

"It didn't follow everything, but at times you see your thoughts, conversations with Sylvie, basically it was like people were reading about your life here." He was just staring at me, I understood this is hard to take in. "I would describe it like a history novel; however, I was placed into this world with you."

"Let me get this straight, you are from a world, where it followed my life as a King, and then as a mage here?"

"Pretty much." It's the truth.
