"I heard from Ken, na sa London ka pala dati nakatira." Wika ni Rex.

"Yes. I was born and raised there."

"What made you to move here?"

"Uh, that's because I got an offer for modelling job. I didn't try to decline because because the conditions are good, besides my parents decided to move their business here." Sagot niya saka sumimsim ng alak mula sa kanyang wine glass.

"So gaano ka na katagal dito?"

"May isang taon na rin."

"What? Then how come that I only been seeing you for he first time? I can't believe that this bastard didn't try to invite you to parties before."

Amber laughed. She likes Rex because he seems to be easy to get along, madaldal din ito kaya kahit papaano ay naging komportable ang unang pakikisalamuha ni Amber sa kanila.

"I don't really like parties."

"Lies." Sabad ni Ken as he threw a ridiculous look on Amber.

"That guy is a party animal back in London. Heh, kung nagkakilala lang siguo kayo sa London malamang ay nabisita niyo na lahat ng pubs and clubs doon."

She suddenly turns her head, after feeling a gaze coming from Isaac. He's been quiet for a while now at halos silang tatlo lang nila Ken ang nagdadadalan, while Isaac mostly watch them in silence.

"Ahem. I heard from Ken that you're the owner of Enchanta."

Isaac nods in response.

"That is awesome. We recently visited the restaurant and all I cam say is, it's really impressive. The foods are tasty and it and vibes really matches the restaurant's name."

"Thank you." He sincerely said saka tipid na ngumiti, dahilan upang bahagyang mapatulala si Amber.

She really wanted to blush that sadly because of his smile but thankfully he managed to keep herself together and maintained her facial expression.

"Oh Amber, did you know? Our Isaac is not only a chef but he's also a part-time model." Pag-iimporma ni Rex sa kanya.

"Really? Then I hope we can work together in the future." She said in bright voice.

"Likewise." Sagot naman ni Isaac.

Biglang kumunot ang noo ni Amber ng mahagip ng mata niya ang pamilyar na pigura.

'Eric! He's here? Why didn't he tell me?'

Hindi siya pwedeng magkamali. That man is really Eric and Amber can recognize his figure from afar.

Agad siyang napatayo, at wala sa sariling naglakad para sundan ang binata. Amber knew that meeting Eric here is a chance to talk to him and settle their argument.

"Hey, Amber! Where are you going?" Ken called her but she didn't look back and walk faster to follow Eric.

Lumabas siya mula sa banquet hall at palihim na sinundan si Eric.

A confused look sudden painted in her face.

'Why am I following him secretly? And why do I feel nervous?'

Huminga siya ng malalim upang kalmahin ang kanyang sarili. She probably feeling nervous because it's been a while since she last saw and talk to him, plus there's a possibility that Eric is still mad at her.
