"Why can't you be like your mother?!"
"Sorry father.." a soft female voice replied, bowing her head out of fear.
The man walked out angry slamming the door shut as he exited the room, the female sighed softly as she looked at the door hearing it open.
"Your highness, are you alright?"
"Ah! Aia! I'm quite alright! Thanks." The female smiled.
"Are you sure your highness?" Aia asked closing the room door.
"Mhm! What is it you needed Aia?" She asked grabbing her stuffed bunny named, Sir Ventrilo.
"Ah, the queens, Elira and Enna have been assassinated." Aia replied to her.
She paused for a moment.
"Really?"
Aia nodded her head as a response.
"I..don't quite believe that." She mumbled slightly tilting her head.
"It is the truth your highness." Aia said.
Maria was supposed to meet up with the 2 queens, they had matters to discuss and now they won't get too.
"The sons?" Maria asked.
"We haven't been able to receive too much information, but they are most likely alive, the kingdom is quite damaged though." Aia said.
"Well...we must go immediately!" Maria said as she walked over to her closet.
"Eh? Your highness, that's like a 2 day trip!" Aia tried to persuade her.
"And plus your fath-"
"It does not matter, we must go aid them." Maria said to her as she grabbed 3 cloaks.
"Wouldn't your father notice were gone immediately?" Aia asked as Maria handed her a cloak.
"I highly doubt he would send a search party for us, not to worry." Maria said as she walked to the window opening it up to the little balcony area she has.
Aia walked up behind her as they both stared down, without saying anything, Maria jumped off and landed onto the ground standing. Aia looked a bit surprised but she jumped down aswell. They had both placed the cloak on and headed into town.
They weren't heading out of the kingdom yet no, if they were to walk, it would most likely take them around a week to arrive at the kingdom. They headed to a barn and when they arrived they were met with a tall black haired girl.
"Scarle." Maria said with a smile.
"WAh!" Scarle said startled as she dropped the brush she was using to groom the horse.
"Oh..! Apologies was not meant to frighten you." Maria laughed lightly as Aia laughed along with her.
"It's quite fine your highness, how shall I assist yous?" Scarle smiled standing up.
