Tessa walked into the gym in the back of the dojo, Kreese nowhere to be seen. Rock music blasted throughout the dojo as Robby laid on his back, lifting weights by himself.

She walked behind Robby, leaning down as she rested her hands on her knees. "I'm pretty sure you're supposed to have someone spot you, you know." She spoke with a smirk as Robby looked up at her.

"You gonna be my spotter?" He questioned, setting the bar down as he sat up. Tory walked in with a scoff at the sight of the Keene boy.

"Looks like you've upgraded from running away to hiding." She spoke as she walked over to Tessa.

"I'm not hiding." Robby rolled his eyes as he took a sip from his water bottle. Tessa slowly looked him up and down, watching as the veins in his arms popped out as he lifted his arm up to his mouth. Robby smirked as he brought his water bottle down after noticing the stare from the girl.

"Could've fooled me. I don't remember seeing you at the fight." Robby attention was brought back from his girlfriend as he looked at Tory as she spoke.

"What were you even thinking? I still haven't talked about it with you Tess, the same goes for you. That you'd break into the LaRussos' and hurt Sam and then everything would be sunshine and roses." Robby lifted up his hand as he spoke in disbelief. "You're lucky the LaRussos' didn't call the cops." Tessa looked down at his words as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Yeah, well at least we aren't the ones straddling the fence." Robby rolled his eyes once more, taking another sip of his water. "Girls like Sam LaRusso think the whole world revolves around them. And why shouldn't she? All she has to do to get what she wants is make a puppy dog face and say please." Tory walked up to Robby, getting in his face as he looked away. "You're right to skip practice. If you're gonna stay on defense, this isn't the right dojo for you." Tory glared at Robby before walking off, Tessa and Robby's gaze following her.

"She's just still mad about the fight, it's nothing against you." Tessa spoke as she looked up at Robby.

"I'm pretty sure she just hates me." Robby shrugged with a light smirk, wrapping the girl into a hug as he brought his hands around her waist.

"Eh, maybe that too." She mumbled into his shoulder; her arms wrapped around his neck as she smiled. As they pulled apart, Robby grabbed onto her hands.

"So how was your family thing?" He questioned, furrowing his eyebrows slightly as she sighed.

"Interesting, I guess my grandpa is like this really rich guy. He lives on the beach, his house is literally huge, way bigger than my dad's. Plus, I got this aunt whose like super chill and nice. But on the other hand, I saw my mom and grandpa fighting like as soon as we got there so I don't really know what's up with that." She shrugged as she spoke.
