"I've called you all for a meeting for a couple reasons. The first reason is to thank and congratulate you on your hard work for our mission this morning. Without you all, we could not have possibly accomplished it which leads me to my second reason. Since we do not have any upcoming missions at the moment, I think it would be nice to have a week's worth vacatio-"
Taeyong was interrupted by the cheering of excitement that filled the meeting room. The leader sighed, crossing his arms over his chest.
Hushes and shushes were thrown around the room as they gathered their attention back to their leader who was waiting for them to quiet down.
"As I was saying, I think a mini vacation would be great and it is much deserved to you all. Do as you wish with your vacation whether it be flying on a plane or staying at the base to rest," Taeyong stated with a tight lipped smile. "I just ask that you come back by next Wednesday so we can train."
Donghyuck who sat next to Mark, looked at his soulmate with excited eyes as the older scrunched his nose at the younger's cuteness.
Everyone had their eyes on the leader with anticipating silence, waiting for the okay from Taeyong.
Taeyong rolled his eyes and gestured swaying motions with his hands, "now you can get excited."
And as if on cue, everybody jumped out of their chairs excitedly and left the meeting room besides Mark and Donghyuck who waited to speak with Taeyong.
"What are you gonna be doing, Hyung?" Donghyuck asked the leader. "Will you go on vacation too?"
Taeyong shrugged, "I think I'll stay here and keep eye out for the base."
"But the whole point of this was to give everyone, including yourself, a break," Donghyuck pouted.
"Someone has to stay behind and I'll be that person," Taeyong stated. "I'll use this time for peace and quiet."
Taeyong pinched the bridge of his nose before massaging his temples. "You guys give me a headache."
Donghyuck dramatically placed a hand over his chest and scoffed, "how dare you!" He faked a whine as he turned to pretend to cry in Mark's neck.
Mark giggled at his soulmate, hooking an arm around his lower back.
"I meant that in the nicest way possible," Taeyong flatly justified himself as Mark snorted.
Donghyuck turned back to face Taeyong, still hooked in Mark's arm.
"At least go out for walks...don't overwork yourself too much," Mark suddenly spoke as Taeyong gave a small smile.
"I should be telling that to you. You need to make sure you get a lot of rest during this break, okay?" Taeyong told his younger brother who nodded.
Taeyong met Donghyuck's eyes, "Make sure he rests."
"Will do sir!" Donghyuck saluted Mark's older brother.
"Good," Taeyong hummed before leaving the two soulmates alone in the meeting room.
Donghyuck turned back around to loosely hook his arms around Mark's neck as the older had his arms loosely hung around the younger's curved hips.
"Do you have anything in mind?" Mark asked the younger who smiled brightly at him while shaking his head.
"This is your chance, Minhyung," Donghyuck squealed, bouncing in Mark's arms.
Mark tilted his head with confusion.
"What are you talking about, angel?"
Donghyuck giggled and playfully rolled his eyes.
"Angel, I'm seriously lost."
