"Fred, George, Percy, you first!" called out Arthur Weasley as the group of children prepared to run headfirst into the magical wall.
Upon hearing his name, George quickly smiled at (Y/n) as if to say, "See you on the other side," then charged ahead in a display of heroism. Fred, witnessing this from a meter away, rolled his eyes but silently jogged through the wall next. Following him was Percy who gestured for Ginny to hurry behind him, concerned that his little sister might get lost.
Then it was Arthur Weasley, who murmured, "After you, dear," to his wife, before hurrying after her to avoid being seen by Muggles. That left (Y/n), Harry, and Ron.
"Well, there they go. Our turn then?" (Y/n) smiled, nodding towards Ron and Harry, who nodded back.
"Let's go," Harry said, pulling back a bit before the trio jogged straight into the barrier, expecting to see the Hogwarts Train— but unlike before, they were all met with a facer. The trolley slammed into the bricks, Hedwig screeching as Ron tumbled onto he cage, and (Y/n) yelping as she rolled forward onto the luggage. The commotion made a loud noise as passersby stared in amusement or annoyance, whispering amongst themselves.
"Ow..." (Y/n) rubbed her head, grimacing as Harry helped her up, the two coming face to face with a staff member.
"Oi! What do you three think you're doing?" the bald man frowned, waving his notepad around.
Harry winced, rubbing his elbow. "Sorry... lost control of the trolley."
The man shook his head in disapproval, tutting but walking away while (Y/n) brushed herself off with a cough. "My god, that almost gave me a concussion! Why can't we get through?"
Ron groaned, scratching his head. "I don't know! The gateway sealed itself for some reason."
To prove his point, he patted the wall. Solid.
"Has that ever happened?" (Y/n) pursed her lips, putting her hands on her hips. She examined the wall, then frowned in disappointment.
"I don't think so."
Just then, the clock chimed — eleven o'clock.
"The train leaves exactly at eleven o'clock. We missed it!" Harry exclaimed, starting to panic.
But Ron frowned in realization. "Harry... If we can't get through... maybe Mom and Dad can't get back."
"Maybe we should just go wait by the car?" (Y/n) shrugged, out of ideas.

...
"The car..." Ron whispered, his eyes widening.
"Please don't say what I think you're gonna—"

"Ron, are you sure you know how to fly this?" Harry asked, furrowing his eyebrows as he shook along with the flying vehicle, tumbling left and right in his seat.
Ron, in the driver's seat, shrugged in 'calmness'—or at least what he thought was calmness, because to (Y/n), he looked terrified. "No problem— all we have to do is find the Hogwarts Express," he gulped.
"And who made you the driver again?" (Y/n) questioned, holding onto the handles of the car for dear life. But is she really to blame, when the automobile is continuously belching out smoke as if it might break apart at any moment? "Gosh, I think I'm gonna throw up—RON, LOOK OUT!"
Ron yelled in surprise, violently swerving left to avoid a clock tower. (Y/n) squealed, collapsing in the back of the car.
As it stabilized after a few seconds, Harry spoke up, "Ron, I should tell you—most Muggles aren't accustomed to seeing a flying car."
