The Scrolls of Telling Origins ~ Chapter 71

The fires were finally put out, the heroes took a deep breath and looked around. They walked over to the families that were affected by the fires and explained to them about their next course of action. Some of the families were mad but they understood. Most of them were okay with it though.

Shez muttered, "I still can't wrap my head around the fact Marth killed himself just so he could protect the town... we barely even had a chance to know him better."

"I know how you feel, but we need to press forward. Marth did it for us, and we know how noble it was for him to do it," Kirby sighed.

Shez asked, "Speaking of, where is Sonic and Marianne? They were here but now they're missing too?" The heroes looked around as Alcryst grabbed the bag of scrolls. He was curious and opened a scroll up, information appeared right before his eyes.

Alcryst asked, "What... What is this?"

"What?" The two walked over as they looked over the scroll. It was about the Netherworld more specifically.

Kirby gasped, "That's information regarding the Netherworld! What does the scroll tell about it!?" Alcryst looked at the scroll and felt himself getting a little bit afraid. Still he wanted to learn more about what they were getting into.

Alcryst stammered, "Um..." He took a deep breath and put the scroll on the ground. The three gathered around the scroll and braced themselves for the telling of a lifetime. The Netherworld was created as a place where those who tormented the world of Dawn were banished too.

This same place, was the place Lord Midnight was sealed away. However, in the process Lord Midnight became the guardian of the Netherworld. Allowing those to roam around the Netherworld. Many structures were built, but there was one thing left. A placement for the royal crown of Midnight. So he would give it to his son as he figured out a way out.

He built a castle called, "Sieges of Royalty." He put his crown there in a glass case waiting for the perfect time. As more and more time passed, Midnight found an escape and grabbed the crown from the case. However, in the process he came across Zehira and Zethus. They were planning to make the Netherworld their home, the place they were going to rule.

Midnight wasn't going to have any of that. He found a way to banish Zehira and Zethus away from the Netherworld into the inter dimension. Before Midnight left, he gave the ownership of the Netherworld to a demigod named Othos. Othos did all he could to protect the land, but Zehira and Zethus found a way out from the inter dimension.

Othos was killed by Zethus and then soon they became the rulers of the Netherworld. Bringing the world to torment and rage, now everything that lives there only brings terror to those who come onto the lands. There is no easy access to the place, the place in Fodlan is a hoax to trap those who are trying to gain access to the one thing. The Crown of Zerus.

"That's... all about the Netherworld!?" Kirby asked. Alcryst nodded as he looked through the scroll more. He opened a few more before soon realizing none of the scrolls had any information about who created the Crown of Zerus. Only information about the Netherworld, Zehira and Zethus.

Alcryst muttered, "Whatever they were doing, they wanted to find a way into the Netherworld. As well as the possibility of bringing back Zehira and Zethus. We must act as soon as possible or we're going to have a situation in our hands."

"Right, but I can't help but stop thinking about the Netherworld. It's such a strange place that is only found in scrolls... how come it is in ancient text and not even in history books?" Shez questioned. He looked through the scrolls more and saw the photos. Apparently, Zehira and Zethus were... dragons.

Alcryst questioned, "Did you see something?"

"No, I'm just wondering why they want to keep this information away from the public eye..."

"Something tells me that they want to wipe out information about the Netherworld. So nobody knows what happens to the powerful beings after they are defeated..." Kirby muttered.

Alcryst wondered, "But the thing was Zehira and Zethus were defeated after Chrom sealed them away with his blast. Could it be possible that they were sent to the Netherworld?"

"Only Chrom would be able to tell us but so far he's MIA..." Kirby sighed. The group looked at one another and took a deep breath. Suddenly they heard footsteps in the distance. They took out their weapons ready to attack. But... It was none other than Marianne, Tails and Gooey.

Shez cheered, "Oh you're okay!"

"There's a lot you all need to know about before you all return..." Marianne sighed. The other two nodded as the group looked at each other with worry.

Shez sighed, "Don't worry about it, just spill out what you need to spill out."

"Alright, this will be a lot to handle so I pray you can deal with it..." Marianne sighed. The three nodded as they got themselves prepared to listen to what Marianne had to say. Where was Sonic? Was something wrong with the heroes?..
