The bright sun shining on Ted's face caused him to groan as he rolled over. He expected to be met with a pillow, but instead he was met with blades of grass. He opened his eyes as he sat up, remembering what had happened the night before. He looked over at Thea and smiled. He could see her in a better light, allowing him to see her beauty better. "Staring is creepy, you know?" Thea said as she opened her eyes and sat up.

"I-I wasn't staring. I was looking at...the horizon." He quickly thought of. Thea rolled her eyes as she turned her head and actually looked along the horizon.

"My god it's beautiful." She sighed in content.

"You've never really gone outside before?" Ted asked looking at her eyes as the darted around the sky.

"No. Furthest I've ever gotten is the garden, but you can't see the sun rises from there." She said as she looked to her lap. Ted stood up in front of her holding out his hand.

"Alright then. C'mon, we've got an adventure to go on." He said and she took his hand, the smile evident on her face.

"Firstly, we need to get you some new clothes." Ted said holding the door open for her. Thea's eyes widened in shock as she looked at all the pretty dresses.

"Ted! Lovely to see you again." A woman's voice caused you two to turn in her direction.

"Niki! I've brought a friend and I hope you can help with her outfit. We're going on a grand adventure into the world and..." Ted trailed off as he pointed at the poorly cut dress.

"A cut up dress will make you very uncomfortable." Niki finished his sentence. Thea was to busy looking at the pretty dresses to realize Niki was secretly getting her measurements.

"Thea, we aren't getting you another dress." Ted said as he walked in front of her.

"But they're so pretty." She complained.

"Thank you." Niki said. "Unfortunately, when you go on adventures dresses aren't the best. You can always come back and get a dress when you aren't going on an adventure, but for now I think pants are your best option."

"Okay." Thea sighed before following Niki to a fitting room. Ted went to go follow the two but was stopped by Nikis finger.

"Sorry. Only clients are allowed back here." She said and Ted rolled his eyes before sitting in a chair in the room. As Niki went through the outfits and found the right one she was asking Thea questions. "How'd you meet Ted?"

"Oh, I ran into him last night. Told him I was going on an adventure and he joined me." She said as Niki wrapped her measuring tape around her waist.

"Lucky. Anytime I ask him to go somewhere with me he says he's busy." Niki grabbed a pair of leather pants, boots, a white shirt, and a few pieces of jewelry. "Go change over there and once you come back I'll add anything that's needed."

"Thank you." Thea smiled as she went and changed.

"You like her." Niki said to Ted when she walked out of the room while Thea changed.

"I just met her."

"Yet, you agreed to an adventure and brought her to get new clothes. After one night. Ted Nivison, you have a crush."

"She's attractive. I hardly know her, and you know that I like women after I get to know them."

"I do know that, but I also know that you make Charlie pay for his own stuff and you're paying for a strangers new outfit."

"That's different, Charlie is like a brother to me."

"And you like this girl." Niki smiled knowing she was right.

"All done!" She heard Thea shout. Niki walked back into the room and noticed something off.

"One more thing." She said grabbing a black corset and tying it on her. "I won't tie it super tight for movement, but just because you're going on an adventure doesn't mean you can look good."

"Are you guys done yet?" Ted asked.

"Almost! Now, how do you feel?"

"Odd. It feels weird not having a dress on because that's all I wear, but I like it. I can move more." Thea smiled and the two walked out.

When Ted saw Thea walk out he was in shock. A good shock. He thought she looked badass and beautiful at the same time. "You look absolutely amazing." He said and blush danced across Thea's cheeks. It had been a while since she was complimented by someone other than her mother.

"Thank you." She smiled looking down.

"What do I owe you Niki?" Ted asked as they walked to the front of the store.

"Don't worry about it. I've had enough costumers this week and lots who over tip. It's all good."

"Are you sure?"

"Absolutely. Just pay me a visit once and a while. I love Minx, but I can hardly understand her."

"Minx is one of Nikis good friends. She owns the armory down the road."

"And she has a thick Irish accent."

"She sounds lovely."

"She's great, unless she's upset. Then It's all gibberish and you can't understand a thing. Well, I won't keep you any longer. Have a grand adventure my friend and new friend."

"We will Niki."

"Thank you for the outfit."

"Have fun, lovebirds." Niki said the nickname under her breath so neither of them would hear, but Ted did and he rolled his eyes at her as the two walked out of the store.
