Crowded room, loud music and dim flashing lights. Everyone had no care about the hands and bodies touching their skin. It wasn't an Addison thing to join this kind of crowd, yet it's one of the things in her bucket list since she moved down to Los Angeles. She's swaying her hips on the dance floor, not caring about the world. She's too busy thinking about her next life—without Derek, without heartbreak.

Their deal ended when Derek sent her a message that Meredith's pregnant. She didn't wanna be involved with his relationship anymore. She didn't wanna ruin a family—she never had.

"You're hot..." a man commented while he's dancing behind her. His hands were gripping her hips. His scent lingered on her nostrils. Too manly with a bit of floral scent—intoxicating. She tried to step away but the man held her still. "Let me go." It was firm and dominant, a Montgomery tone. "Come on, don't you wanna have some fun with me tonight?" Cringe. He gripped her harder, pulling Addison closer to his frame. "Not with you!" There's already a pressure and force on her tone but the man didn't let her go. "Let me go!" It was already her final warning. But the man was too hard to be stopped. Addison didn't wanna fight physically not because she couldn't, but because she didn't wanna damage her more than a million-dollar hands. She could match the guy, but her hands are more important.

"The lady asked you to let her go. So let her go."

"Who are you to tell me what to do?"

"I'm her husband."

The statement just made the man laugh. He eventually let go of Addison to threaten the one who asked him to let Addison go. "Husband? Dude, everyone who comes in here is single, not married."

"Not everyone." And then he grabbed Addison's hand, pulling her behind him. "This woman right here, doesn't belong to your everyone." He cleared his throat. "So now, if you'll excuse us. We have somewhere more important to go." There was no chaos since the man just let them go peacefully. But when Addison and the guy who helped her out of the situation reached the outside of the chaotic world, she pulled her hand from his grip. "You're welcome by the way."

"I didn't even thank you."

"Deep inside I know you already did." Addison just sighed and rolled her eyes. "What are you even doing here?" She crossed her arms, waiting for an answer. "Looking for you."

"Funny. I'm going home. It's been a long night." She was about to walk away but then... "You can't go home without this." He showed her the black YSL clutch. It was hers. "Give it back to me please."

"In one condition."

No. She's already sick and tired of all the conditions.

" Derek!"

"Addison." He mocked. "Come on. I found a place. I know you haven't explored LA yet. You've been sitting on your lounge, staring at the waves while sipping your wine." He was trying to get her go with him even just for tonight. But her mind was still wondering what her ex-husband doing back in LA. You should be taking care of your wife, your child. Your family. "You'll only get your clutch when you come with me." He never said "small bag" like he used to. "Fine. It's because I only bought that this morning and I have my things in there."

"Okay. Let's go somewhere only few people know." Addison followed Derek, expecting to finally sit on a comfortable car than the cab she rented earlier. She expected too much. Derek handed her a helmet, which she didn't know how to put and lock. "Just..." Derek put the helmet on Addison's head, locking it safe. "There. Now hop on."

"Don't drive too fast, Derek."

He knew Addison is afraid of fast vehicles. He wanted her to hold onto him so tight tho, so without any warning he drove fast, making Addison wrap her arms around him tighter. Her eyes were closed. "Are you praying Addie?" Derek teased but Addison just kept on holding him tight. Luckily for her, it was just a couple of minutes drive. "I swear to god..." she believes in god? "If you drive like that again Derek..."

"Remember the last time you said "if you—"? You and I ended on the same bed, naked." Of course I remember everything about you and I. "Oh shut up." Addison gave the helmet back to him, and waited for him to lead the way. They walked down, until they reached the place Derek was talking about. They were under the bridge with fairy lights, the walls were painted with a neon graffiti. It looked like a festival was held there. "So this is the place you called somewhere only few people know?" Addison almost laughed. "I was here a couple of nights ago. It's a private place where different artists unleash their talent by painting on the wall. And there was a little party after that." And then she walked to the right side where... "I put this..."

Addie was here. In a neon yellow paint.

"Yellow because Phoebe told me it's a color of happiness."

"Who is Phoebe?"

"I found a friend. She deals with arts and artists. She's a fun. We're friends with Jo also, she owns a bakery down the street. Abby, she's a writer. And Delia, she's a divorce attorney." She then looked at Derek. "I should've hired her as my attorney when we were divorcing. She's very good."

Derek just looked at Addison in the eyes. Regrets and sadness can still be seen. I am the one to blame. Was echoing inside his head.

"I have a paint. It's neon red." That symbolises love and you. He then put " AD were here." Addison looked at him and smiled. "You put A first. You usually put the initial of your name first."

"Well, it's time for me to put you first."

Addisons heart pounded like the first time Derek announced the love he felt for her. But it would never be the same again. That time had already past. They're now on their separate ways, different lives. If only we can turn back time.

"Can we stay here? For another moment or two? I just want a peaceful night. Away from all the problems." With you. Derek barely asked for a favor, and when he does, it's Addison's time. The two sat down the ground, backs resting on the wall. Addison knew something's up. So she held Derek's hand and intertwined her fingers with him. He knew it's a small gesture from Addison that says I'm here, ready to listen.

"It's not mine."

Addison was taken aback when she heard the confession. It's not his? The baby was not his? She was about to open her mouth, say something. But she waited for Derek to tell her everything. "She told me last week. It's not mine. She couldn't let me go, and telling me that I'm the father of the child in her womb is the only way she knows to keep me in." Derek took a deep breath. "She lied to me Addison. Meredith lied to me. That baby, is Finn's."

"I'm sorry Derek. I really am." There's nothing I can do but to feel sorry for you.

"I should've ended it with her a long time ago and rekindle the romance I have with you."

"Don't say that Derek. Everyone has a choice, it's not wrong to choose your happiness."

That happiness I chose was a mistake. "I regret my choice. I chose the wrong happiness. My happiness with Meredith was just a temporary show. But with you Addison, I know it's true." There's nothing left to say from her side. She still feels the same happiness when she's with Derek. Like it's Christmas again— their season. "Oh Derek." She let him rest his head on her shoulder. They just stayed there for another hour. Until her phone rang. "Someone's looking for you?"

"It's Delia. I almost forgot, there's a sleep over in her house."

"Oh okay. I don't wanna keep you then." I have an idea. "Why don't you come with me, Derek?"

"I don't wanna insist. It's your night with your new friends."

"Nah, it's fine. Besides, Delia has Gordon. Abby has coach Mike. Phoebe has Tess and Jo has Albert. I have no one and I'm inviting you as my plus one, Derek."

"How are you gonna introduce me then? Your ex-husband?"

"You're always gonna be my best friend from New York." That hurt Derek a little bit, but he can go with it. "Fine then, best friend from New York." He mocked, helping her stand up. "Oh wait. Give me your paint and brush." Addison dipped the brush and put a heart around the AD were here. "Always." She turned around, and then Derek was already in front of her. So close that the tips of their nose were almost touching. They were breathing the same air. They might not know it but their hearts were also beating in sync. Derek's arms encircled Addison's fit frame, moving her closer to his. "Come back to me Addison." I will always end up into your arms Derek.
