All of Katey's supplies were put on to one side. She liked to put her own away.

Quinn came in with his friend Leia.

"Welcome back Mom." He kissed my cheek.

"Thank you Quinn. Hello Leia."

"Hello Lady Kylie and Sir Paddy." Paddy nodded to her.

Once the sunset, the Algonquin went to their beds.

The Council held a meeting with Wilbert and his family.

"Wilbert please tell us the reason for your visit."

"Yes Sir before you left for the New World you had sent me a letter asking that I keep an eye on things in Europe for you. I was honoured by the request as was my family. Thank you." The Council nodded.

"We have done just that. Many have travelled to my home seeking advice on certain matters. I realised that I had no one outside my family to discuss these matters."

"Many of our people are worried that they will not be able to attend the next gathering."

"I discussed this with my family. Pedro, one of my sons, is a ship's Captain. He suggested that we should see how easy it is to find your new home."

He looked around the cave.

"We were able to sail across the ocean with no major problems."

"How long did it take you to cross Wilbert?" Councilman Antonio asked.

"Four months Sir."

"We made sure we had a large supply of chilled blood. Pedro had a few islands that he would visit when he travels for long periods of time. We made use of them."

"Very good. You will be able to tell our people in Europe how to travel."

"Yes Sir. Our people will have to plan well ahead."

"Yes they will."

"Was there anything else?"

"Nothing that was important. I like to visit new places."

"Well it is new."

"Yes Sir and very roomy."

Wilbert kept glancing towards the corridor where the mortals were sleeping.

"Is there a problem Wilbert? You keep looking to our guests."

"I am sorry Sir. I do not understand why you have such a large group of mortals here?"

Councilman Carlos chuckled. "As you can see we do not have a city to feed from." Wilbert nodded in understanding. "They were heading South to a warmer climate. We offered them our hospitality for the winter."

"They accepted. Everyone knows to sip if they think they can not they go after an animal."

"I understand you have your winter supply close at hand."

"You can say that." The Council smiled.

Shaun and Colleen signed to Paddy, Cassie, Samuel and I to go to our room.

We nodded. We went to our quarters in the cave. Shaun followed us and closed the door.

"None of you need to be our duty. The four of you are to rest for the next twenty four hours."

"Yes Sir." Paddy said.

"I do not understand Sir?" Samuel said.

"It is going to be the normal routine after going to Montreal for supplies. It is a long and tiring journey and I know none of you stopped to rest."
