"Get out of my fortress. Where are my men?"

"You mean your mortal men. They were delicious."

"You are ...you are... you are vampires." She pulled out her weapon. Shaun and Paddy had their hands on it to stop her. "Who are you?"

"We are the people you sent your army after."

"My army?" She whispered then her eyes grew wide. "You are the Vampire Council."

"Yes we are." Councilman Klaus smiled.

"You took my creator." She pointed her finger at the Council. We could see the tattoo of the 'Church of the Righteous Angel' on her hand.

"We took the vampire Michael Bellman. He was disobeying the rules."

"Your rules." She spat on the ground. The wolves growled. Councilman Klaus held up his hand to silence them.

"We have reasons for our rules Whitney if we did not have them. It would be total chaos."

"I want him back." The petite girl stomped her foot.

"Is that why you sent your army to our home?"

"Yes I want the Reverend back."

"Oh dear. There is slight problem. He was destroyed almost a century ago." Her mouth worked but nothing was coming out. "A century?" She finally said.

"Yes a century ago. Now Whitney."

"How do you know my name?" She interrupted the Councilman. There were more growls from the Guards.

"My men destroyed you. How is it there is so many of you left?"

Councilman Klaus laughed. "How long were you with Bellman?"

"Almost a year."

"He did not teach you very much."

"He taught me enough. I know how to kill you."

"Really?"

"Yes really. With this. I made it myself." She raised her weapon again.

Shaun and Paddy held her weapon again.

"It is all right. Let her use her weapon."

They let go of it. I watched her take aim. I moved fast enough to be in front of the Councilman. She hit me with the stake and shots.

"Kylie!" I heard several people call my name.

"See I killed her."

"Paddy tend to Kylie. Please."

"Yes Sir."

Paddy pulled the stake out first then the two shots. I took a deep breathe. Paddy smiled. I saw Councilman Klaus' hand before me. I took it. He helped me up.

"Thank you Kylie." He sniffed.

"Sir?"

"The bleeding has stopped?"

"Yes Sir."

"Good."

We turned back to Whitney. The Guards had moved closer to her.

"Now as I was saying when you were registered?"

"Registered?" She said staring at me.

"Yes with the Council."

"Council? How come she is alive? The Reverend told me a wooden stake would kill a vampire unless she is a werewolf then the silver shot would do it. He told me." Whitney was babbling. She stared at me. Her pretty face turned into an evil sneer. She raised her weapon again. She was able to fire her weapon a few times before Shaun took it away from her.
