They finally reach home after done with some investigation of the case that involve Yoon Seung Il and Lee Hanbin. They also take time to inform the family member by themselves.
Jiwoo plop herself on the living room couch before sighing out a loud. She's thinking about all the what if question she had.
what if she can't save Sunghoon?
what if she lost Jake?
What if he left her with nothing?
What if he force her to do things she doesn't want?
a tear escape het left eye, she quickly wipe it away but the guy who is standing across her must be realizing it as he make his way to her side.
"hey"
he call as he softly caress her hand making her turn to him.
"what is it?"
"you can tell me.."
"you're not alone"
"i'm here, i'm listening"
he continue, making the girl look down as she feel more of her tears will escape her eyes any seconds from that moment. As soon as a soft sniff can be hear from her, Jake quickly pull her into a tight hug.
she broke down in the guy embrace. Jake lift his hand to caress her back and the back of her head, whispering sweet things into her ears to calm her down.
"is this about Sunghoon?"
he ask calmly ask caressing her head.
"it's you.."
she reply with a low voice.
"what if I lost you?"
she question as calm herself down from crying.
"I feel like people life are on me"
she continue before Jake pull away from the hug and cup her face, caressing her cheeks before leaving a quick peck onher lips but the girl remain unfazed.
"it's not"
"we'll get out of this together"
"okay?"
he say as he put on a small smile on his face and the girl nod making his smile wider. He lean closer and peck the girl forehead making her mouth curved a little.
"shower, then we'll eat dinner and go to bed"
"they'll hold the funeral tomorrow evening so we need to finish the work involve him before"
Jake continue making the girl nod again before they both stand up and walk into their room.
