BROOKLYN AND KIARA arrive in South America and are instantly thrown onto a coach. She promises Mike that she'll get that money to him but her life is on the line so she needs to get to her friends now and fast.

When they arrive in Tres Rocas after a very... entertaining experience on the overcrowded coach, they strategise on how to find their friends. Conveniently, they see Pope, Cleo and JJ running straight towards them, almost as if they've heard them.

Brooklyn sticks her arm out the open window and says, "Pope, hello!" She claps her hand over his but he keeps running.

"We gotta run!" Cleo tells them.

Kiara and Brooklyn climb out the coach and are joined by the others. "Singh's men are right behind us," Pope tells them. They've literally just got here and they're already running. "They're after us. We gotta think of a plan."

"Why don't we hijack the bus?" JJ suggests and Brooklyn rolls her eyes.

"The bus goes ten miles an hour, J," Brooklyn comments.

"I'm just spitballing, Bee, okay?" he responds.

Pope steps past the girls to see a car pulling up nearby. "They're coming now! Hide!"

The five of them rush to hide behind a could stands. JJ is looking at Brooklyn but all she does is laugh quietly as she leans against him, happy to see him again. "I'm glad you're okay," he whispers and a kiss is pressed to her head.

They watch as the men rush back to the car to check elsewhere. "Welcome to South America," Cleo cheers and Brooklyn gives her a sarcastic smile.

They leave their hiding space and Brooklyn walks alongside JJ, her hand in his as she and her friends try to merge with the public to avoid being spotted by themselves and cornered. Brooklyn wraps an arm around Kiara's, pulls her along and they continue walking until they find Mike.

"Mike?" JJ questions.

"Yeah, you owe me, dickhead," Brooklyn tells him as she lets go of his hand to join Mike's side.

He starts to walk them down to the dock to where he keeps a boat they can use to get across the water. "Got anything to protect yourself?" he asks Brooklyn.

"Kinda working on that part," she admits.

"There's machetes here, you'll need them," he tells her and she nods. "I'm adding the cost of this rig to what you already owe me. I don't expect to see it again anyway."

JJ's about to speak but Brooklyn beats him to it, "You got it. Thank you," she says.

"I asked around at the landing," he mentions. "Your buds did leave this morning, but I was able to get directions to El Tesoro." He hands her a map. "Only Jose knows the real way, but gets you in the right zip code, maybe."

"Thank you," she repeats. "I appreciate it."

"Don't thank me. Start praying," he says. He looks to JJ and adds on, "She owes me. Ten times thanks to you. Good luck."

They push away from the dock and set off for the water. Brooklyn sits herself down next to JJ and explains the story of how Mike shot down the tire on the Twinkie, nearly killed her, but she was able to deliberate with him and convince him to give her a ride to South America in return for cash she hopefully gets from here.

"Shit, I'm sorry," he mutters.

Brooklyn pats his cheek and says, "It's fine. It's coming out of your cut anyway, baby."

The next morning, after a restless night, the five of them are preparing to set off again in the hopes of finding Sarah, John B and their dad. They see Singh drive by on his boat, likely looking for the others as he doesn't even take interest in them. If they were looking for John B and Sarah, that meant that they knew where they were so they all came to agreement that they needed to follow Singh.

The only issue was... They couldn't get too close, they didn't want to lose it all now and get caught.

Everything feels like a dead end. Brooklyn feels they aren't going to get anywhere chasing after Singh in the hopes of finding the others. She was so desperate to see her brother, so desperate to be there for him and find this treasure with him because all this treasure was what their family had been searching for their entire lives.

She had watched her father for years nearly kill himself over this gold and now it was at their fingertips, and Brooklyn wished to be spending these moments with him and their father. But here she sits, knees up to her face while Pope handles the boat. JJ is next to her, brushing hair behind her ear, and whispering soft words, "We're gonna find John B, Brooke."

How does he know what's going on with her all the time? He knows her too well.

"My father has always been crazy about this treasure and I'm afraid that, if they've found him, he's gonna choose the gold over him, my own brother," Brooklyn admits and she knows she sounds crazy but it's true. It's always been true. John B and Brooklyn have constantly been second best to the treasure and if John B has found their father, he's going to choose the treasure over him.

"He'd really do that?" JJ asks.

Sadly, Brooklyn nods. "I don't want my brother dead. I don't want Sarah dead. If my father lets either of them die, I will never forgive myself."

"You saved me," Kiara speaks and Brooklyn smiles softly. "I know you wanna be with John B, we all do, but you're here, and we're gonna protect you, okay?"

"You'll see him soon, babe," JJ mutters and presses a kiss to her head. "The sun is starting to set, you should get some sleep."
