Rose stayed as Dimitri left her room in a flash, heading straight for the Church attic after a quick explanation. Calling Alberta on the way, they met at the chapel doors. Not pausing to explain, he raced up the stairs with Alberta hot on his heels. She was awaiting explanation but knew better than to interfere in anything concerning Lissa, particularly with Rose involved. Neither was quite prepared for the sight they met however.

Sitting by the window, in a pool of blood and losing consciousness, was Lissa. As they reached her they noted the small razor blade in her now limp hand. Clearly Lissa had done this to herself. Based on other markings they now saw, this wasn't the first time. Dimitri moved to wrap her up in his jacket as much as possible before carrying her and running for the clinic. Alberta phoned ahead so they're ready and had a feeder on standby. But how does she feed while unconscious.

Nearing the clinic Alberta voiced her dismay. "How could she have done something like this without us knowing? This clearly isn't the first time".

"Rose knew" Dimitri sighed though not slowing his pace. He planned to get answers but knew only she could give them, and wasn't sure how forthcoming she would be. Thankfully they made it to the clinic without being spotted. Lissa was covered well enough that she should not be recognised easily even if they were. An immediate frenzy of activity waited through the doors. Lissa was placed on a bed with a feeder close by as they cleaned and treated her cuts, hoping she would rouse to consciousness on her own.

Amidst all the chaos, Dimitri spotted a scared and shaking Rose at the door

Amidst all the chaos, Dimitri spotted a scared and shaking Rose at the door. Knowing he shouldn't but feeling he could get away with it given the commotion and situation, he swept her into his arms, providing her the comfort and support she needed. She needed him and he was unable to deny her, however much he knew he should, wished he could. Whispering the sweet nothings to her that he didn't dare speak in English, Rose found she didn't need to know what he was saying, she knew he was trying to comfort her. His voice alone had that affect but his speaking Russian made her relax even further. As she relaxed Dimitri moved her back to her room (not properly discharged yet), and away from Lissa. He wanted answers and figured this was as good a time as any. He also knew Alberta would want the information too but thought he'd have better luck getting them. One look at his face and Rose knew this, letting out a sigh before she began to answer his unasked questions.

"She started getting really depressed after the accident". He knew what accident but she told him the epiphany she had with his 'guardian angel' comment and reminding him of their talk about Lissa's healing, having an unknown magic. In truth he hadn't believed it because like she said, there is no known specialisation to allow for such a thing. Not only that but for all his fame, the school named for him -St Vladimir's had no clue about what Vlad specialised in. "I think she healed me then too".

"What are you talking about" Dimitri asked. He was confused.

"My ankle was broken" Rose asserted, continuing before he could interrupt like he was clearly intending. "The reason I relaxed wasn't the drugs but because she healed me. That is why she suddenly looked so pale. She gets upset over little things and knew I'd be upset that she healed me. Especially since she promised she wouldn't. 'The more she uses it the worse it gets.' That is what our teacher Ms Karp used to say". He was about to ask what she had to do with this when he remembered Rose saying she too had healing abilities. "Karp healed me once. I fell, escaping my second floor room to socialise when I wasn't allowed." Dimitri grinned at the recount. Seems no matter the floor or obstacles, Rose will always find a way to escape if she wanted. "Like Lissa, she could heal. And also like Lissa, she used to injure herself. I don't know if she cut herself, but she would dig her nails into her scalp hard enough to leave marks".
