everyone's attention was drawn to the couple who won the very first place. taehyun pulled beomgyu's hand and flew it above his head.

they both felt like the winner champions from a boxing contest because the way taehyun lifted his arm with tightly holding beomgyu's hand.

taehyun embarrassingly smiled, feeling that they weren't in middle school anymore. they grew, taehyun had the sudden urge and he wished that what if he knew beomgyu sooner? maybe highschool? or even longer before.

but everyone was cheering for them. he slowly pulled his hand down as some other couple too came in the auditorium along with some other people who were couples but supposedly failed.

"you may come forward and take the reward!" the host said with a bright smile as he invited both the boys to the stage. it felt so grand like they were handling some huge prize,

which was worth a million but nonetheless they were a bunch of amusement park tickets. taehyun felt stupid but beomgyu came forward like a fool and took them happily took them.

"look taehyun!!" he held the ticket with both of his hands as he pulled them above his head looking above him as the tickets loomed over his head.

and jumped as he got them, he rushed towards his freinds and proudly showed it to them "why are you so happy over a bunch of tickets!?" taehyun looked in disbelief.

"it's because i got it from the hard work instead of just spending my money over it!" beomgyu jokingly hitted taehyun's head.

"you mean the hard work i did? because all you did was stand and be silly" taehyun said with a smuggled face as he tried to steal the tickets.

"oh you better not get me started if it wasn't for me maybe you wouldn't have won, it's because you like me taehyun!" beomgyu blunty said before even registering what he actually said.

taehyun halted for the given moment, his heart ached  "i should get going. i-i have to leave early for today"

taehyun was coming shorter on excuses everytime he tried to come up with something blunt again because his time was ticking down, he couldn't run away anymore.

it was getting exhausting for him but trying once more wouldn't hurt right? "wait taehyun..." yeonjun held beomgyu's arm to prevent him from speaking more,

beomgyu looked at him perplexed asking why the older stopped him suddenly. yeonjun calmly nodded on beomgyu to let him go.

beomgyu just stared at the latter's figure getting further away from as it became smaller and smaller. leaving the scene "hyung why did you stop me?"

yeonjun sighed "beomgyu maybe he needs rest? look at him, he's exhausted" only then beomgyu started recalling the day and taehyun did actually looked so exhausted.

his head drooped because he wanted to spend more time with him.

the moment beomgyu registered that the latter had left, beomgyu sighed and left for his dorms. he wanted to celebrate it all but most of all what he wished was to spend it with taehyun.

it surely took a while for him to gather up his thoughts and feelings. he concluded that he liked taehyun but there was this uneasy feeling coming somewhere deep downtown inside from beomgyu but he couldn't possibly pinpoint it.

too much was going through his head, he plopped himself on the sofa and grabbed his guitar from where he left it last time.

so he started playing guitar to take it off but the more he started to play with the strings of guitar the more he fell deeper in the void of thoughts and the music coming out from the guitar.
