"What happened to him?" Cam turned to ask Peter in fear.

Peter simply kept his gaze on Rob's body.

Robby was in just boxers, his unconscious body riddled with visible black veins.

Along with his veins being black, there were tentacle-like parts of... the goo?!

"Holy- that's the symbiote on him, isn't it?"

"I think so! Check his pulse."

Peter bent down to put his fingers to Robby's neck when all of a sudden, Robby's eyes shot open. The whites of his eyes and pupils were now replaced with a completely black hue. Peter and Cam stubbled back out into the hallway in surprise and shock.

Tentacles began coming out of his back, the black veins growing darker and more prominent.

Peter stuck his hand out in front of him, signaling for Robby to stay back, while his other hand was on Cam's chest, keeping her behind him.

"R-Robby? What's going on? Are you ok? Is it hurting you?" Peter rapidly fired these questions.

Robby simply growled before lunging at the pair. Peter punched Rob in midair, yelling at Cam to run out the door.

She made her way to the door, grunting in pain because of her injuries.

"Rob! Snap out of it!"

"Robert is deep inside. I inhabit him now," a deep, booming, voice came from Robby's mouth, but it clearly wasn't he who said that.

"Who- what are you?" Peter begged.

"We... are... Venom," he replied before two tentacles shot out from his hands, smacking Peter back into the hallway wall.

Peter slid to the ground with an 'oof.'

"Let our friend go!" Cam shouted while limping to R̶o̶b̶ Venom, a kitchen knife in her good hand.

She swung it at Venom before Peter could protest, landing the strike on his shoulder.

He fell to his knees, clutching his shoulder, letting out inhumane sounds.

Cam got next to Peter and turned to him asking, "That little gooey creature is doing all of this to Rob?"

"I guess that's why they called it deadly. We need to go but we can't leave him here."

"We need an antidote or something to get the Venom out of his bloodstream. You can see his veins; it's in him."

"You would have to think VorroTech has a cure, right?"

"Can we lock him in the apartment?"

"Yeah, let's go!"

Robby's skin was healing, regenerating, right in front of their eyes! A black tentacle emerged from his wound, it immediately striking Cam!

She grabbed her chest where she been hit, in incredible pain.

"Go! Go!"

The two ran to the door, Venom already leaping to block the exit.

Peter went in for a fight while Camila began searching for another option. She saw the one window in his living room behind a giant potted plant.

It was incredibly hard with only one arm, but she was able to slide the plant out of the way and unlatched the window. Raising the window and screen, she called out for Peter who was being brutally beaten by Venom.

He dodged a hit, backflipped into the living room, and hopped out of the window on the fire escape where Cam currently stood. He slammed the window shut just as Robby's shoulder tentacle smacked it.

Sighs of temporary relief came to them before the window smacking resumed from the inside. They turned to the escape ladder, which had already been let down into the alleyway.

"Someone already let the escape down."

"Easier for us. Can you make it down with your injuries?"

"I'll have to try."

"I'll go down first and stay below you for support," Peter suggested. She nodded with panic as cracks began forming on the window that was still being struck.
"I guess he doesn't know how to open a window?"

"Guess not," Peter called up, already halfway down the ladder.

"Ok, you can come down!" Peter affirmed. "Hurry!" The cracking getting worse.

She climbed down with extreme caution, holding back tears because of her many acquired wounds.

'SMASH!'

The window smashed open! Cam looked up seeing multiple tentacles reaching through the opening. Robby's head popped out the window, a deranged expression showing. This caused her to climb down much faster, Peter 'cheering' her down the escape.

Robby began his crawl out of the window.

"Cam! Dropdown, I'll catch you! It's not that high!"

Taking one final look at the deranged boy above her, she dropped right into Peter's arms, making her release the sobs she had been holding in. Her arm, stab wound, and various other injuries were throbbing in immense pain.

Venom made Rob ricochet himself down the ladder. That was enough for Peter to hold Cam bridal style and book it. Through her cries, he could hear Venom's roars and growls from behind them.

"It's going to be ok!"

Peter and his companion emerged from the long alleyway into the busy streets of downtown Manhattan.

Cars and people of all kinds crowded the streets and paths. There was a deranged symbiote on their tails and he was going to be able to hurt all these people!

Peter turned with Cam still in his arms, to look at the alley, expecting to see Venom barreling down the way towards them. But there was nothing other than a few pigeons.

Where had he gone?

Peter looked down at the girl who was softly crying.

"He's gone, he's gone. I don't know where though."

His brows furrowed, realizing just how much pain she was in. His main priority was getting them both out of there. Now, he needed to get the girl help. He had patrolled this area before as Spider-man, so he knew where the nearest UrgentClinic was. He picked up speed, trying to get her there before the pain got any worse.

After an hour at the clinic, Cam had been rebandaged and given heavy pain medications. She was mostly drowsy, Peter helping her walk. He hailed a taxi to take her back to his apartment.

They arrived, Peter again helping her up to his door, bringing her inside and repositioning her on his couch.

She was out within an instant, Peter subtly admiring her with a soft smile before going into his room to begin the planning of how to help Robby.
