TW's mention of death and blood
Dream looked at himself in the mirror, he had just showered and finished fixing up his hair for his boyfriend George. He
was going to visit him today and have a little at home date night. He wanted to make this day special for George, special
for himself too. Dream dressed himself into some nice clothing, making sure to spray himself with George's favorite cologne
he wears. He then left his room, his phone in his pocket as he slowly descended down the stairs, knowing this would be a
rough day.He saw his mother in the kitchen, she was standing there with Dreams sister, Anna, clearly absent from the house. Dreams
mother looked over at him, her sadness pasted all over her face. "Are you.. sure you don't want to spend today here? With
Anna?" She asked, Dream nodding."I don't want to leave him worried.. I guess.. this is goodbye?" Dream asked, his mother tearing up. She ran to Dream,
wrapping her arms around his neck as he quickly hugged her back, a tear escaping his eye too. "Just.." he squeezed her
waist, "tell her I love her.. please.. tell her that she will get through this, get through life, and I'll be so proud of her.."
he pushed out, his voice straining at the pain in his throat. His mother nodded, releasing her hold on her son, before cupping one side of his face with her hand. "Such a brave boy.."
she smiled, "I love you so much Clay.." She kissed his cheek, making more tears come out his eyes. He wiped his eyes, not
wanting George to notice his tears. Dream let go of his mother, covering his mouth as he coughed violently, his mother
holding his back as he leaned against the counter. He gravitated to the sink, coughing out blood into it before wiping
his mouth. "Are you sure you don't need me to drive..?" She asked, trying to stay strong for her son.Dream nodded his head, running his hand through his blonde locks. "Yeah.. I'm fine.. really". Seven hours. Dream
walked slowly out the kitchen, making his way to the front door, his mother waddling behind him incase he went into
about her coughing fit. As he held the door handle, he felt something brush against his leg. He looked down, seeing his
cat patches, looking up at him in confusion. "Hey princess..". He crouched down, letting her head, scratching underneath
her chin. "Promise you'll take care of her..?" Dream looked up at his mother, the woman nodding her head. Her arms
we're visibly shaking, she witnessed the entirety of Dreams life, from the day he was born to unfortunately, the last.Dream stood, giving his mother one last hug, a tight one, before letting go. His sister was in school right now, he was
sad he wouldn't get to say goodbye to her officially, but he had to spend his time wisely. He opened the front door, walking
out to see the sky. It was nearly afternoon, so the sky was quite a bright blue with little clouds. He looked back at his mother,
who was now crying fully as she watched her son walk out to his car, knowing this would be the last glances she will ever
have while he's alive.Dream coughed the full way to George's house, trying to cough into napkins to not make a mess, but he was slowly
running out. He finally made it, having to swallow down mouthfuls of blood occasionally as he did so. He looked up at
George's house, the metallic taste of his own blood still lingering in his mouth. He grabbed a water bottle from the
glove compartment before getting out his car. He glanced down at his feet as he walked over the hard concrete,
making it to George's front door. He sighed, filling his mouth with water, before spitting it out into a drain, seeing
the pinkish color as the blood mixed with the water. He ran a hand through his hair, feeling a bit better now that the metallic taste was out of his mouth. He knocked on
the door, hiding the water bottle behind himself as he heard footsteps from inside. He hadn't told George anything, and
he didn't plan to. He wanted to make the day memorable, but as normal as possible so it wasn't suspicious. Just a
regular day.
