I sat on the bed in our room, kind of fidgeting with my hands.

Aino sighed, shutting the door behind him.

"Okay, it's not really that bad. It's just something that I feel like we're finally ready for," he began, turning to face me.

"And that is?"

He walked up to the bed, putting a hand behind my head so he could kiss me again. I paused a bit, grabbing his face to deepen the kiss for a bit.

He let out a whine, knowing that he had to pull away.

"It's... Griff."

I froze, already having an idea of what he was going to say.

"I feel like it's time to get him back. Think about it. We have so much now. We're stronger, we have more experience, and our farm has been doing so great. I want him ba—" I cut him off.

"Aino, I want him back, too. Are we really that ready, though? Think about what we'll put the farm through with our absence. We could lose it to them. We have something else to lose, now," I began to panick a bit, not sure where to put my hands.

"Kama, look at me."

He placed my hands on his face, urging me to look at him.

"We'll just have to take everything from them before they can do it again."

I sucked in a breath, gently twirling pieces of his now long hair in between my fingers.

"Are you sure? Like... really sure?" I continued, wanting the confirmation from him.

"I'm sure, Kam. I won't let them hurt you too," he hummed, placing a kiss on my cheek.

I smiled a bit, removing my hands from his skin.

I deeply sighed, resting my hands on either side of me. I felt the soft material of the bed between my fingers, leaning back into the comfy pillow.

"Alright, let's do it."

He became giddy quick, shaking his hands in pure excitement. I laughed a bit at how cute it was, his large figure flopping onto the bed.

He grabbed a hold of my hands once more, seeming to take in every inch of my skin under his own.

"You won't regret it."
