We spent the rest of the day making plans for our absence. We decided to begin this weekend, giving everyone enough time to prepare.

Some members were put in charge of the children's house since I was the only one that really looked after them. Aino depended on his fellow farmers, happy to pass on his knowledge to them.

We wrote down the plans, putting them all in a folder for safe keeping.

It was kinda dumb that we didn't do this before, but we were doing it now.

As we worked, the week went by awfully fast. Saturday soon arriving, and it was time to begin.

The farm started on their daily work, operating like we were still there to help.

As we stood on the border of the farm, I looked out to what we had built.

A smile crept on my face, complete pride in my veins now.

"Are you ready, Kama?"

I deeply sighed, finally turning to face him.

"Ready as I'll ever be."

"WAIT!"

We both turned in shock, seeing one of the farmers run up to us.

"We found an intruder in the crops. He was injured, and his clothes were ripped up. We decided to take him to the medics, but we sent security with him just in case he was violent. I know you two had plans, but we don't know what to do." he quickly explained, breathing heavily showing how far he ran to catch up to us.

That was weird. An intruder the same day we were about to head for New York? That didn't pose a great sign.

Me and Aino rushed to the medic house with the farmer. The rest of the farm's eyes fell on us in their panic.

Aino shoved the door open, heading straight to the room the farmer described. I kept close on his trail, taking off my coat and bag.

He opened the door to the room, seeing all the guards and nurses there.

"Good, you two are here. We don't know what to do with him," one of the nurses sighed, moving out of our way so we could see him.

The man looked up at us, his eyes widening when he noticed.

No way.

"Aurelio?" Aino began, his eyes just as wide as his.

"Kama, Ai—"

"No. No fucking way, everyone out, now." I ordered, stepping back along with Aino.

"Wh—"

"OUT."

I could tell that everyone realized how dire the situation was at my tone. They quickly left the room, shutting the door behind them.

Aino locked the door, turning back to Aurelio in a panic.

"Please, I come in peace." he begged, sitting up in the hospital bed.

"Peace? Don't fucking talk to me about peace." I scoffed, getting a dagger ready in my hand.

"I promise. I-I don't want to hurt anyone here. I can cover my eyes if you want," he shook as he spoke, shutting his eyes tight before wrapping a blindfold over them.

I didn't know how to feel right now. He was fucked up, and he had cuts all over his arms and legs.

A large cut went down the center of his chest, his ripped up shirt showing nearly every inch of his skin.
