A Phantasy Star Online Script Part 9

For those not in the knowledge of the Phantasy Star Online Universe, I shall give you all the very much needed information.
Hunters: Male, Female Newman, Male Android and Female Android. These four beings, each of varying attack and defensive stats, all are close-combat specialists. Using mainly swords and knives to kill enemies, the only major difference is that the Androids of this class can not use techniques. Techniques are the magic casted abilities that all Humans, and Newmans, can use.Rangers: Male, Female, Android Male and Female. The long distance shooters, these beings use their rifles, mainly though they can use pistols/handguns, to attack from afar and can still do high amounts of damage. Forces: Male, Female, Male and Female Newman. The heavy hitting technique casters of any race. The Newman race, can use their passive ability to heal themselves of any magic useage.With the team of 4 gathered upon the unstable raft, Berd tries to gather his balance.

Berd: Sh*t! This things is so unstable!

Fylec Nodwu: Yeah, this is worse than the raft we were on, in the Caves!

General Mood: Alright! It will get easier to balance yourself, Berd. Crack open your Red Boxes and, if possible, use those weapons.

Jokesum: Here it comes! All hands on guns!

A tidal wave begins to form as the boss of the Temple VR, Barba Ray, emerges from the water. A fish shaped creature, with tentacles out of its head flail about, the size of a blimp, dives up and down through the waves that it has formed as it effortlessly swims faster. Catching up with the raft that the team are on.

Berd: Well, shoot!

After opening the Red Box that he had received from the room before the boss arena, Berd had opened fire at the head of the giant fish with his new Rianov rifle. A photon based weapon that shoots faster than regular rifles. Upon opening their boxes, Jokesum and Fylec begin firing their weapons at Barba Ray as it swims close to the left side of the raft that the team are on.

F.N: Well, this is bigger than De Rol Le and Dal Ral Lai!

G.M: Too true! Those dead, lifeless, eyes are weird!

Jokesum: Focus up! It will do a bubble-type of attack on us!

As he shouted this at his teammates, Barba Ray jumps up from the side and a bubble-type attack does happen as it lands back down into the water. As the fast moving bubbles travel across the raft, each team member has to either jump, in Fylec's case, or duck. Jokesum, however, takes the hits. He stands upright watching Barba Ray speed up and to the front of the raft.

Berd: Jokesum! Why didn't you dodge?

Jokesum: I presume you forgot that your V2 heart would protect you?
There is a brief silence amungst the team as they look around themselves, then see a copper coloured effect being produced from the floor of the raft.

G.M: I presume that this is not a good thing!

Jokesum: Not at all! Guys, roll dodge if you would like to!

Suddenly, bursting out of the floor of the raft, a large tentacle wiggles its way skyward. With a green poisonous glow extruding from it. As soon as it had begun coming out of the rafts floor, Berd's V2 heart pulsed into life and everything slowed down. Watching his teammates, Fylec and Mood, jump and dodge out of the tentacles way, Berd then sees Jokesum walk over to the end of the raft, aiming his Bringer's rifle at the tail end of Barba Ray. With a nod, Berd joins Jokesum at the back. Though time is still slowed, Jokesums Vol Opt heart has attuned itself to Berd's V2 heart as they both crouch at the back of the raft.

Berd: You're...you're moving at my speed!

Jokesum: Fire at it's tail!

Suddenly, Jokesum unleashes laser, after laser, upon Barba Ray's tail. Seeing this, Berd joins in shooting the boss with his Rianov Rifle. The blasts of photon and laser, like a railgun being shot out faster than regular shots.

Jokesum: We're going to need a bigger boat!

Berd: I'll bring out Belra's Cannon!

Jokesum: That'll work!
