A/N: Over 6000 words?
...yeah, that seems about right.Hello to all you Todoroki lovers out there!
...wait, you're not a Todoroki lover? Then why are you here? 🤔Anyhow~
I'm sorry that this chapter has taken nearly TEN DAYS to get out. I got really bored writing the start of it, but once the main fight kicked in I was on it like a hawk 🦅
(There's no hawk emoji ತ_ತ)I was gonna add more to this chapter but then I realised how long it was.😅
...so it's going at the start of the next chapter! ( '◡‿◡)Okay okay! That's enough of me being stupid and wasting your time! Let's get on...
...with the long overdue chapter!
Leaning your head back, your eyes closed. Taking a slow, deep breath, you tried to find a sense of peace in the rowdy stadium. Seeing as Himari wasn't here, you figured you might as well try to find peace before you inevitably lose said peace. After Bakugo and Uraraka's match, Present Mic had announced that we'd be continuing after a small break. You knew it was for the competitors and everyone in the audience, but for some reasons you felt as if this was also a subtle excuse for Present Mic to wallow in sadness for a few minutes.
After all, he wasn't exactly happy that the person he was rooting for got hit with twelve explosions and lost.
Himari had left not long after the final match of the first bracket to go and check on Uraraka, along with praise her for how amazing she was and who knows what else. She had no idea if Uraraka was still unconscious or not, but she went anyway.
Honestly, there was a part of you that wanted to go with her. But you didn't. You figured with how cheerful Himari can get, it'd be a bit overwhelming for Uraraka. And you doubted the two of you being there would be any better.
You were using the few minutes you had to try and get some peace, yes. But you also figured it wouldn't hurt to try and come up with a decent plan to beat Iida. His speed was something that'd be hard to battle against. You're fast, but you're not that fast. Though, you doubt any human being without a speed Quirk would be.
After a bit, your hearing got the best of you and you eavesdropped on your classmates conversation. It wasn't your fault they talked so loudly.
And they happened to be sitting right in front of you, but that's besides the point.
"Hey, Bakugo!" Sero called out, eyeing the ash-blonde from his seat. "That was tough, huh? Playing the bad guy."
Leaning forward, Tsu added her own comment. And for some reason, it made you kinda wanna hit her across the face. "Even if it was because of the match-up, you played an amazing villain, Bakugo."
"Shut up! Be quiet!"
"But man, I can't believe you were able to aim such a huge blast at a frail girl." Kaminari commented, leaning his head back. "I couldn't help but to hold back."
Irritated with both of his comments, you leaned forward. Shooting a subtle glare at the electric boy. "You wanna shut your mouth Kaminari. I kicked your ass easily."
"And if you were smart, you would've realised that Bakugo didn't hold back for a reason. It's like Aizawa-Sensei said, he knew she was strong. All it would've taken was for Uraraka to touch him once and he would've lost."
Rolling his eyes at Kaminari's comment, Bakugo took a seat beside the electric boy. "What part of her was frail?"
"Exactly." Resting your hands behind your head, you leaned back in your seat, not having much interest in the conversation anymore. "My point still stands."
