It's really unfortunate that I get my best inspiration when I'm feeling the least inspired
I have all these wonderful ideas that could shatter light bulbs
Beautiful melodies that try to get my legs to move out of bed
It's odd I find the depression a bit enticing knowing the struggle will paint my most colorful pieces of literature
The very bane of this oil to water relationship is
I'm logical enough to know how to emulsify my parallel counterparts
I'm just hurting deep enough to think that it feels better to let every thought pass by
Staring as blankly at it like a passing cab
Pretending it never belonged to me in the first place
I hope they reach someone worth a damn
Someone who knows the importance of letting the water cleanse you
Instead of letting the oil leave a film over your eyes
