Wade rolled off of the small hotel bed at precisely 4:38 in the morning. Hunter, who was sharing the bed with him, seemed blissfully unaware, despite the large thud that reassured Wade that there would definitely be a bruise on his hip the next day.

He scattered onto his feet quickly, as if there were somebody watching him, but as he glanced around the room he came to the conclusion that everyone else was asleep.

They weren't planning on being squished into two small rooms together, they really weren't. The hotel management had a loss of communication on their part when they forgot to add another room to the bill. Although they tried to refund them completely, Lucielle had the grace to smile through the interaction and tell them that the problem was fine and that they would manage.

Ha! Wade thought to himself, I bet Lucy's regretting her big decision yesterday. He quietly walked over to his blonde friend who was curled into a ball on a stack of blankets on the floor. Wade hovered over her for a slight second before he bent over to slowly covered her up again, making sure that she wouldn't get woken up by the strange chill in the room.

He shivered to himself and made his way towards the thermostat, his eyebrows furrowing when he read the temperature it was on. Why the hell is it so cold?

Wade walked around the room like a detective, tiptoeing around until he realized the cause of his problems, the window was left open. He crept towards the window and shut it quietly, wincing at the loud click it made. Nobody in the room seemed to care.

As he took his first step from the window, Wade felt something that was definitely not the floor under his foot.

"Ow, shit man." Elizabeth mumbled, rolling onto her back to look up at Wade. "My arm."

"Sorry, sorry. Go back to sleep." Wade urgently shushed her. The last thing he needed was for his entire group to be grumpy the entire day. Before she could utter another word, he raced back towards his bed, only to see that Hunter had sprawled himself over the entire thing. His shoulders slumped and he turned around in defeat.

"How am I supposed to go back to sleep now—" Elizabeth began, her normal royalty voice turned into a sleepy whine from her lack of sleep. "I honesty just wanted to sleep, and right when I-"

"Oh fuck it." Wade muttered to himself, and in two strides he had made it over to the half-asleep girl. He let his arms slide under hers and he hoisted her up. "Cmon princess," He muttered, pulling her to the door before she could utter another word. By the time she was fully advised to the shock of the situation, they were already outside, where her whines couldn't wake up the entire household.

"Dude!" She groaned, her voice coming out slightly slurred from her tired state.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," Wade whispered, helping her towards one of the outdoor benches, although the cushions were lightly wet from the morning dew. The hotel they chose was a last minute resort the night of, and the majority of hotel was wrapped around a beautiful grass area outside. The door of their hotel walked right into it, meaning that the only way out would be to go inside through the lobby.

She slumped down next to him, rubbing her eyes with her fists. "I wasn't even that loud."

"Loud enough to wake someone up, I just didn't want anyone getting pissed at you for waking them up"

"Mmm." Elizabeth objected, "They would have been pissed at you."

Wade stifled a small laugh. "Sure. Sure they would. Are you still tired?" He leaned forward a bit to get a better look at her face, which was paler than ever. Distinctively, he also noticed the dark bags under her eyes that he knew wouldn't appear from one night, but he chose not to question it.
