Chapter Three: Factor of X

Rośe's room

  Rośe woke up from her supposed dream, it was so long ever since she found out her brother had done those things. It still disgusted her to this day. Rośe checked the time on her phone, finding it to be 6:43am. >I woke up early... very early...< Rośe thought to herself as she placed her phone back onto her desk. She got up from her bed and got herself ready for school. By the time she was ready, the time was 7:19am. >I should probably wake the others up... school starts at 8:20.< Rośe walked into Kokori's room first, finding Kokori already up and ready. Kokori looked over to Rośe when she entered. "Ah, you're already ready!" Rośe spoke in her usual cheerful tone. Rośe left Kokori's room, heading into Ren's room next. >The hell?< Kokori thought to herself when Rosé left. >Did something happen to her?< Kokori continued in her thoughts, thinking of how weird Rosé was acting.

  >I hope Kokori didn't notice how weird I was acting..< Rośe thought to herself as she was walking to Ren's room. She opened Ren's room, finding him not there. "You looking for me?" "Eep!!" A voice was heard behind Rośe , this made Rośe jump and when she looked behind, she saw Ren behind her, holding two plates of food. "Sorry if I spooked you." Ren apologized to her, offering one of the plates in his hands. Rośe took the offered plate, a smile forming on her face. "You don't need to apologize.." Rośe responded awkwardly, she didn't expect Ren to appear out of nowhere when she was searching for him. "Well, I assume you already checked in on Kokori, so once you two finish your breakfast, we'll head out." Ren spoke out, as he left Rośe , heading into Kokori's room, likely to give Kokori the remaining plate in her hand.

  >I should go and see if Ryo is ready..< Rośe went into Ryo's room, not finding him in his room. >Did he already leave?< Rośe thought to herself when she opened his door. She closed his door, leaving to eat her breakfast in the kitchen. When she sat down, Kokori was also at the kitchen table, also eating her breakfast. Rośe joined her, eating her breakfast, Ren was waiting for the two of them to finish eating their breakfast. He was sitting in the living room, on his phone, he was communicating with someone on text. Once Kokori and Rośe finished their breakfast,the time was 8:02am. The three left the apartment and headed out, the walk to Tempo High was quiet, Rośe was still in her thoughts, thinking of the past. >Why? Why would you do those tests?< Even after years of seeing those experiments being done, she couldn't wrap her head around the reasoning behind it. >I shouldn't think too much about the past...< Rośe shook her head, attempting to get those thoughts out of her head. Kokori and Ren took notice of this, but didn't say anything as they approached Tempo High.

Tempo High, School Rooftop

  "So? Even if I did go, it wouldn't matter. Would it?" Ryo was talking to someone on the phone, it seemed like the person on the other side wanted him somewhere. Ryo was waiting for a response, looking out to the cityscape with the sun shining behind him. The person on the other side hung up, leaving Ryo with no one but himself. Ryo sighed, putting his phone into his pocket, turning back, heading inside of the school. >Guess our detective work begins... Although, our supervisor is really inconsistent with information..< Ryo's thoughts were cut off when he almost bumped into someone, although he backed up much faster with the other person noticing and backing up as well."Sorry! Almost bumped into you!" The person responded, he had a smile on his face as he apologized. Ryo examined him, from the ground up. "You're Jay U-yung.. Right?" Ryo asked, remembering Jay. He's part of their school's basketball team. "I am! Well, I guess it isn't hard to know who I am!" Jay scratched the back on his head when Ryo recognized him. When Jay looked at Ryo, he noticed his particular features, mainly his jet black hair, with white hair at the crown of his head, as well as his tired, burnt orange eyes. "Wait.. aren't you the skillful midfielder on our school's Football (Soccer) team?" Jay recognized Ryo, his unusual appearance isn't hard to miss around their school. Ryo nodded his head, confirming Jay's question. "Well, I'll be heading to my class, see you." Ryo said, leaving Jay in the hallway. >It is hard to have a long conversation with him..< Jay thought to himself, watching Ryo leaving for his class. >So, Jay U-yung... you'll be a valuable asset to this case..< Ryo thought to himself, thinking back to the case from a few days ago.
