"They say you're hard to please, but I'll still give myself to you. Be my valentine."
Mirella thought he didn't mean that for real. She replied really unserious with "That sounded so cheesy, you should put that in a song. Fits the rest of your songs...
We were told by the manager to get dressed nicely and take pictures for their instagram in front of the Eiffel Tower. Josh, Ryan and Rob helped me pick out an outfit since we were told to dress fancy and all of them had oversized blazers or coats with either white or black button up shirts underneath. So we decided on this for me and Ryan gave me an oversized blazer of his in case I would get cold. I had my hair up in a high ponytail and decent makeup on, looking im the mirror I looked beautiful.

Right now we were all just waiting for Elijah in my room. Josh's in here too since Elijah and Liv have been fighting once again in the room across from where we was staying in right now. After asking Josh what has happened, he just said that Liv was just jealous about something. I'm afraid that my presence might have caused a fight between them. Josh suddenly received a call and I believe he was speaking to a girl. Before hanging up, the words 'I love you, babe' escaped his mouth. "Was that your girlfriend?", Mirella asked carefully. "Yeah, her name is Gina and we've been together a little over a year now. I love her very much.", he answered happily. He looked up from his phone and showed me a picture of her. "Wow, she is gorgeous.", she replied envying her looks. "What about you Mirella?", Josh asked her back. "Well, there isn't much to say. I've never been in a relationship nor have I ever dated someone."
Speaking it out loud made her feel terrible. It was a quiet repetitive thought from the far back of her head, that became so loud having it said out loud. It was eating her up her entire life and she kept asking herself wether she was good enough for someone to like her or hard to love. She felt embarrassed and started playing with her fingers.
"Wait, what?", Ryan said from the other side of the room. He got up and walked over to her and Josh sitting on the sofa. "How come", he asked curiously and sat down next to her. "Well, I was never really popular I'd say. Then years got by and I got out of touch with the thought of having to have a boyfriend at a certain age. Then I grew older and older and no one ever came up to me or approached me. I guess I just grew away from the idea of being in love and personally, I've never felt attracted to anyone and if I did, I would never build up the courage to stand up for it. Now I still have never experienced a hug or a kiss or anything from a men.", she explained, which made Rob listen too. "You shouldn't blame yourself for anything. Everyone and everything is lovable, it's just standing in the wrong place to be appreciated well enough.", Josh said which caught me off guard. "Damn, that was wild Shakespeare.", Rob threw in from the side sitting on the couch. After anyone could say anything Elijah stormed into the room. "Let's leave quickly y'all.", Elijah said and then everyone started moving, grabbing their stuff and heading straight out of the door. Elijah was still standing in the doorframe after the boys quickly left the room. The only one left was Mirella still sat on the bed. He was leaning on the doorknob with his left arm. As they were supposed to dress up, he looked especially good from the way he was leaning there and looking over to the girl sitting. A white button up shirt combined with dark pants and some really nice shoes, was what Elijah was wearing. Mirella was starring a little too hard so Elijah picked up on that.
"I look good huh?", he said looking down on him. "Let's go.", he added. When passing him it seemed like the time has slowed down for a moment. He held the door open and she walked pass him, looking up to him. She's never been this close to him before and seeing his face clearly, revealed some of his features more. His brown eyes and dark brows, which were slightly outgrown but still looked well put together. His lips were slightly apart, as if he was about to say something. Above his lips, where his nose was, was a thin nose piercing which from afar, didn't seem to exist. Even some freckles popped up from being so close to him. It was like there was so much about him that Mirella didn't know and that's what and how it was. She felt really far from him. In fact he was a stranger, which she still found comfort in, somehow.
Their trip went by quite smoothly. They've been to the Tower and took pictures whereas Mirella even took over and played the photographer for a good hour. Best kind of scene, I should've been Bandits in charge of the silver machine. Josh noticed her being lowkey left out, so he took over and let Elijah and Mirella stand next to each other. Mirella at first didn't want to stand next to him, but then Elijah stretched out his arm for her to get next to him, which she did. Ryan and Rob were standing right next to Josh and found the whole scene quite entertaining. "Rob, take a picture with the polaroid.", Josh suggested and handed him the camera. "Make them stand closer.", he added quietly. Josh was now smiling from behind and Ryan quickly caught up to his plan, so did Rob. Rob knew what Josh was up to but he sure did notice the two of them getting slightly awkward and being stiff in front of the camera. "Y'all should stand a little closer it looks so awkward. Mirella give Elijah a hug.", Rob said. He knew what he did with that. He witnessed how Elijah held her hands on the plane, so he wanted to get Mirella her first hug. Her first hug ever had to be with Elijah.
Elijah POV
She looked so small next to me. Not because of the height difference but more like her personality and confidence were shrunk and barely there. Don't turn, don't turn and run away, don't hide. She seemed so uncomfortable after what Rob just suggested us to do. It was quite dark and when she was looking to the camera, it was hard for me to read her expressions. Now she was looking straight up to me with her eyes that had my heart feel like falling into the ocean. We were breaking the limit, then we broke down, turned to the left to some no-named town. Her eyes told me 'what do i do now' and my eyes were too dark to reply. Coming 'round the corner I'll be there in a minute and I'm coming up on something sweet. "Is it okay if I hold you, Ella?", Elijah asked carefully. She looked surprised at the sudden Name he called her, but she just nodded and gave him a slight smile. It seemed to have given her comfort. A nickname just for her. "You are gorgeous.", he said suddenly, which was only just as loud for Mirella to hear. She didn't realize that he had slowly pulled her closer by the waist. She was so close to me and even though I didn't mean to say that out loud, it seemed to have helped her. As the distance in between us got smaller and smaller, she rested her hands on my chest and was smiling. She made me feel things I've never felt so it was hard to comprehend what my body was trying to tell me. She felt like a drug that I desperately needed and wanted to have in my blood all the time. My body felt like listening to a song that I yet had to find and listen to, but knew was going to be my favorite. These are the days that kiss you on your broken nose or a broken heart.
Once we were back at the hotel and back in our rooms. I asked Josh for the Polaroid before quickly going over to Liv's room. I didn't want to go there but I also didn't want to keep fighting like this. These are the the days, I don't miss the feeling of being alone. Tomorrow we are going to leave Paris anyways and start touring with our bus, so she would have to leave me soon anyways.
"Here bro.", Josh said handing him the photo. "You sure wanna go over to her?", he added concerned. "I guess. Thank you for the picture.", Elijah replied and made his way out of the hotel room. They quickly said 'goodnight' and then the doors closed and lights went out. The lights in the hallway were bright and Elijah could finally look at the picture better. Everybody's got a dream, I like them best when you're in it. He stood there in the hallway for a good amount of time, trying to understand something his brain couldn't seem to put in words. The door on the left to him opened, revealing Ryan walking out. "Are you still going to use your bed? The couch is awful. Why are you standing here like a tree? What is that?", Ryan noticed. Elijah didn't get to say anything or explain himself. "Ahhhhh, I see.", Ryan said clearly amused. "I was just looking at it.", Elijah tried defending himself. "Imma go to Liv now.", he added and the both of them looked over to the right door. "Should I give the picture to Mirella?", Ryan asked. "I think I'll keep it.", he answered looking down on it. It was hard to let it go, not until he figured out what it was trying to tell him. After a quick 'goodnight', the both of them disappeared in their rooms and the hallway got quiet. These are the days.
