"why do you want to die Hazel? why can't you live?" he asked angrily this time. And I couldn't hold myself, " because I'm tired, I'm tired of predenting to be strong, I'm tired of living Aiden, I tried, I tried to find reason to live but I failed at...
Last night when I came back home late from my warehouse, I went to my room after changing into a new T-shirt and trousers, I went to take a look at Hazel. I opened the door but she was not in bed. I searched the room but she was nowhere. NO! She can't run away! I was going to search for her in the whole house but before I could call Terry for help, I heard someone shouting, in pain. The screams were coming from the study room. It was hazel. I knew it! When I reached the door, the screams became silent, firstly I thought it can be a trap so I opened the door cautiously, the lights in the room were shut, all I could figure out was someone lying on the floor near the window. "Hazel" I called. When I moved closer to take a look, I found it was Hazel. She was trembling like a dry leaf on the floor. I rushed towards her and held her. "Please switch on the lights" she whispered. I hurriedly switch on the lights. Now I could see a clear image of her. She was shaking in fear of the unknown. I held her face and tried to calm her down. She was having a terrible panic attack. My heart was aching at the sight of her. "Calm down Hazel No one is going to hurt you," I told her while wrapping her in my arms so that she could feel safe. I could not figure out what was terrorizing her, but I need to calm down. I could feel her heart racing, so I did what my mom used to do when I had nightmares. I placed her hand on my chest and said her to deep breath so that she can match her breathing with mine. At that moment, I could see all the emotions she was trying to hide for so long. At that moment, I could feel, and see the real hazel. As time passed, her breathing and heart rate became normal and she slept in my arms.
I wrapped her in my arms protectively not wanting to let her go, I had a rule, not to be attached to someone, but she was different and I am afraid she was becoming an exception to my rules.
I finally got a perfect view of her face as she was sleeping, innocently. Her soft skin, her rosy lips, her brown short hair, all of her was beautiful. I remember her sweet irresistible eyes.
A soft laugh escaped from my mouth, remembering her sarcasm.
I did not realize when sleep took over me while thinking of her.

When I opened my eyes in the morning, I caught Hazel's eyes staring at me. I could stay like that whole day but after a couple of seconds, she freed herself from my arms, realizing our position. Leaving an empty space between us.
"How are you feeling now? I asked her cutting the increasing awkwardness in the room.
"I'm fine" she replied.
I asked her what happened last night in the hope that she'll answer truthfully, but hoping was a waste of time cause' as expected she told me her made-up story.
"Last night I...Umm...I just read the book and fall asleep here. I am nyctophobic, that's why this all happened." That was all she said, but before I could say anything further, "I am sorry for barging into your room" she added and rushed out of the room leaving my words hanging in the air. I was standing alone in the room. Anyhow, I got another thing about Hazel, that she was terrible at speaking lies. I laughed at my assumption and walked into my room to get ready for today

After taking a long relaxing shower and changing into work clothes, I picked up the book Hazel was reading earlier and walked towards her room.
I knocked on the door and stepped in after hearing a yes, to my surprise she was standing in the balcony in her regular sweatshirt and track pants. "Here it is," I said while putting the book on the bed.
"What," she asked quietly.
"The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, that you left reading in between last night. I thought you want to complete it and solve the case for Sherlock Holmes," I said smiling.
"Thank you" she mumbled, while I was expecting a sarcastic reply, but anyways.
"From today we are going to start your fighting training," I told her while drawing her attention towards me."Get ready and meet me in the kitchen. After breakfast we will go to my warehouse, okay?" I added after feeling her eyes on me.
"Okay" she said and I went outside of her room. I was feeling hungry so I went straight into kitchen and as expected, I found terry talking to Anna with a mouthful of sandwiches.
"You should probably eat first" I mocked him while whispering a good morning to Anna.
"I was ... just... complementing her for making her all-time best sandwiches," he said while struggling to form words. Anna laughed at his situation. I pulled out my tablet and started reading latest news while waiting for Hazel for breakfast.
After some time she appeared on the stairs. She was wearing an oversized white sweatshirt with black tight leggings and sports shoes. The leggings fitted perfectly on her curves and the oversized sweatshirt was looking cute on her, I just lost my other senses for a couple of seconds.
I diverted my eyes from her to tab realizing I was staring at her.

"Good morning dear!" Anna exclaimed seeing her and catching my attention. "Good morning" Hazel whispered.
"Come on sit her, I serve you the food," Anna said. Hazel sat on the chair opposite to terry and me while Anna served her and me some sandwiches and orange juice.
"Good morning hazel, I am terry. Sorry I didn't got a chance to introduce myself" terry said to her. "Good morning" she mumbled quietly and ate her food in silence throughout while terry and Anna talked about random things. However, my eyes were on her. Next half hour went like this and after that terry drove us to our warehouse, where we were going to train hazel with other fresher.
