"I wish I could see you now." They hang up and Celine finally shows herself to her family. The response is amazing. Her mom and dad even approve despite Celine's original concerns. Her sister whistles, making her laugh. Just before she can say something, there's a knock at the door. Mike, Celine's brother, opens the door. Rene adjusts the cuff of his suit and then looks upat Celine as he comes in. His eyes catch entirely. He just stares, his lips parted, absolutely astounded. Celine blushes deeply and almost bites her bottom lip when she remembers she has lipstick there. She walks to Rene and he finally blinks. "You look ... stunning." "Thank you." She whispers. He shows her a bouquet of flowers, not just roses, but wildflowers that should be long gone to the cold of winter. She swallows. "These are lovely. Let me get some water for them." Celine's so distracted by the flowers and their beauty, she almost misses the fact that he'swearing the suit she got for him. She giggles and winks at him. "Nice suit by the way, someone has great taste." "Oh, yes she does." He agrees. Even as she takes care of the flowers, she can feel his eyes on her. She clears her throat. "Before we go, I have to put on my favorite earrings." She dips into her room and carefully puts in the earrings Rene got her. She walks back out, kisses her mother's cheek then lets Rene put her coat on for her. He opens the door for them to leave, then the car door.
