1. Left For A Minute

I was at S.T.A.R. Labs with Caitlin and Cisco it was a quite day so far and boring as I had a day off from my day job at the CCPD. Caitlin was looking as beautiful as usual, "Wait, that sounded really weird in my head" he quietly whispered to himself. "Sorry, did you say something Barry" Caitlin said as she looked up from her computer, "What no where did you get that idea" Barry said quickly in shock as if she heard his thoughts. She didn't reply and just looked back down at her work, Barry felt bad at the way he had snapped at her like that but didn't say anything back in case she thought something was going on.

A couple minutes later Cisco comes into the room and starts babbling about loads of scientific crap, Barry really wasn't in the mood for anything today the only time he payed attention to anything was when Caitlin started talking which was just to answer Cisco "That sounds a bit dangerous" she replied while lifting an eyebrow, "Barry thinks it's cool" Cisco said with a big smile and looked towards me, "huh" I said as if I just woke up from a daydream.
BEEP, BEEP
Came from Caitlin's computer "um, Barry there's someone robbing the diamond collection downtown" Caitlin informed as her hair got blown to the right side of her head.

Barry arrived at the diamond collection seconds later to see a massive man standing before him wearing a thief outfit, he must of been a bodybuilder or something because he was almost twice the size of Barry.
The thief looked at Barry as he was stuffing a diamond necklace into his sack, he looked Barry in the eyes gave him a little wave and completely disappeared. Barry looked around left and right to see where he went but was nowhere to be seen, all the diamonds were gone along with him.

Barry rushed back into S.T.A.R. labs where just Caitlin was sitting there as if she was waiting for him to return, "Hey did you catch the guy trying to rob the diamonds" she said while giving him a look of concern "um no, it was another meta, he disappeared in front of me" Barry told her with a weak smile, "did he teleport or can he go invisible" she asked turning her head in confusion, "no idea, I was hoping you could help me figure that out" Barry replied.
"Well did you bring any samples from the scene?" "Oh damn, I forgot" Barry said scratching the back of his head, as Caitlin let out an annoyed sounding sigh. "Well I guess now we need to go to a crime scene" Caitlin said giving him a sexy smile and raising her eyebrows, and at the speed of light Barry cradled Caitlin in his arms and ran to the crime scene.

They arrived back at the crime scene and Barry gently set Caitlin down as she says "Oh head rush" we both giggle together as we enter the scene. Caitlin walked over to one of the smashed glass cases to see if the thief had cut himself on the glass and ended up cutting her hand on the side of the case, I heard her let out a little scream as I rushed over to see what happened to her hand and cover it up to stop it the bleeding, as I wrapped the bandage around her hand slowly as I looked at her who was already looking at me through her sparkling brown eyes that sent me into a dream, a beautiful dream.
I was getting the urge from the bottom of my heart to just lean in and connect her lips with mine, if there was anything I wanted to do more was to make a move I have been so afraid to do in a long time, I just wanted to to taste her lips so badly and I don't know why I was holding out so long because this was the best opportunity I had to do it, so I leaned in and let all the love spill out of me as my lips connected with hers.

This was one of the best things I think I have ever felt, it made me feel like the empty spot in my heart from my mums murder just filled up with my love for her, she was the one person that made me feel whole the one that brought the light back into me.
I slowly pulled away to look into her eyes and I saw her slowly reopen her eyes and look straight into myn, and through the passion of that kiss I could tell she wanted the same thing I did, I gave her a smile and she smiled back "well, I didn't see that coming" she said with the most beautiful voice that made me want to kiss her again "neither did I" I said back to her. "Um so did the thief leave anything behind" she said braking the mood, "not anything I have seen I will go take a look around" I said as I left the room to go see if there was some CCTV footage I could take a look at and see if it caught the guys face or showed any evidence left behind.

I walked into one of the back rooms where there was loads of TV screens which was clearly the place I was looking for, I sat down at the small office chair that was in front of the CCTV monitors. I heard a high pitched squeal as I was rewinding the tape, not sure If it was the sound coming from the tape or not I rewinded back a little further and there was no sound, terrified something had happened to Caitlin I ran into the room she was in and found her lying on the floor surrounded by a pool of blood, her blood.

Still shocked by the sight of her lying on the floor I rushed over to her, she was breathing heavily as she was struggling to get the air in and out her lungs she looked up at me still not saying anything as it even looked to painful for her too,
There was a stab wound straight through her chest not knowing any other solution I asked her what happened while holding down the wound to stop the bleeding, she didn't answer but she looked like she was in to much pain to, Cisco was still at the labs so I called him to tell him to get the crash cart ready, as he picked up Caitlin in his arms and held her close to his heart and ran...
