Fractured Nexus Part 4:Paper Crowns and Emerald Hearts

"For the last freaking time, I. Am.Not. Fraxas, What do you people want from me!?" Shouted a rather frustrated and confused Turbo,who was grabbing onto the top of his head as he sighed.Currently he was in bit of a spat with a group of inhuman guards.

After having been defeated by his robotic doppleganger a few days earlier.the rambunctious hedgehog as well as his companion had been taken away by the leader of another resistance group who was having him under investigation due to both his resemblance of the current overlord,as well his connection to the Chaos Emeralds. Because of this,It has raised the suspicions of the sanctuary's inhabitants of believing that Turbo and Fraxas Prime were either one in the same or had some connection to each other in spite of the needlemouse's pleas.

Guard 1: Pipe down you screechy weasle!*The guard yelled back at Turbo,clearly he seemed to be annoyed with the hedgehog at this very moment.Feeling like he and his partners aren't getting any closer to the answers they seek*Look kid,This charade is getting old ,Either you tell us where your hiding those emeralds and the captured monsters or else.

Turbo:Or what? You'll lock me up? I've told you, I don't know where the rest of 'em are. Look, I'm not sure who it was who rained on your parade , but whoever it was. It isn't me.

Guard 1:Then why in tarnation do you look so much like him then?,* He pondered,tilting his head to the side with a rasied eyebrow*

Turbo:Oh I dunno.I got an unfortunate face? *He shrugged, remarking in a rather sarcastic manner as he glanced over the guard as he rested his hand on his cheek which only caused the guard to laugh*

Guard 1:Likely story, Speedy.* He said in joking manner as he chuckled hysterically* The more you try to keep up this charade. The more difficult it's gonna be for you.So I suggest you spill it.

The guard demanded,his tone suddenly shifting to sound more serious as he gave the hedgehog a heart piercing glare before his partner decide to interject and gently moved him to the side as he walked over to Turbo*

Guard 2:* coughs* A-Ahem. I apologize for my partner's behavior.But it is by the word of the queen that we ask you this.All we seek is any information you may know about the overlord.* He explained in a much more softer and calmer tone in comparison to his ally*

Turbo:Information!? My brother in Chaos. Did I not just tell you guys like 20 minutes ago? I don't even know why I'm here!*Slamming his hands down on the table with his shoulders shooting upward. He growled as he was looking up at the two guards* I have only been back in the city for 3 days. Next thing I know. I found out that two of my friends became criminals, a fool with a god complex stole my entire look and that he took over the world...In that same day. That guy attacked me, my friend and your lunatic of a leader!* He recounted,throwing his hands up in the air*

Guard 1:Watch your tone there,boy, I got a half of mind to beat you...*He threatened as he grabbed onto Turbo by his shirt*

Turbo:Half a mind!? Ha! Half a mind is right! I could run circles around you faster than you could think!* He snorted with a confident smirk on his face *

Guard 1: Why you little! *The enraged investigator snarled at the blue quilled needlemouse,scrunching up his hands,he attempted to grab Turbo only for him to quickly move over to the side in his chair.Evading the guard's assault,he tried to grab him again only for the hedgehog to continously evade him*

Guard 2:Sampson,Wiil you cut that out!* He rasied his voice out of frustration as he pulled the other guard away from the table and pushed him over to the side.

Guard 1 (Sampson):Hey, What the big idea!?

Guard 2:The queen had specifically told us to talk with him...NOT to kill him!
