Peaceful Slumber Part 2 - Marth x Reader

"Link, please put me down..."

"Why, [Y/N]? As long as Marth isn't around, I can carry you as long as I want~."

You gave him a pout and crossed your arms, looking away from his beautiful, blue eyes. First, it began with just you and Link chasing each other, until he decided to pick you up bridal style just because, "he wanted to." Now, you just kept there and pouted with a blush showing on your face of course.

"Awwwwww, is [Y/N] blushing?" Link teased with a smirk.

"Am not, Link! Now can you PLEASE put me down now?"

With that, Link chuckled and finally put you down, while you huffed and dusted yourself off.

"Thank you..." You then, looked around the area to see that Marth wasn't around.

"Hey, where's Ma-"

You cut yourself off once you caught eyes on the Hero King plastered on the floor. Raising a brow, you walked your way over to him and looked down, curious as to why he was laying on the floor like this.

"Marth?" you called to him but no answer. Softly, you went in front of him and knelt down, seeing that his eyes were shut closed and he was breathing softly. This could only confirm that the Hero King was in fact sleeping. You couldn't help but giggle softly and lie down on the ground next to him, quietly.

You watched as his chest rose up and down softly, his mouth open a gap with soft, noisy breathing coming from it. He looked so peaceful and precious like this, that your cheeks lightly blushed at the thought of you watching him sleep like this. You sat up a bit and looked back at the three other boys, only to see them goof off like usual.

With a small grin, you quietly took out your trusty phone and set up your camera, also careful not to turn the flash on or else he might wake up or it might cause attention, flashes can sometimes be evil like that. Plus, there was already enough lighting in the stage so it was fine. You adjusted yourself to get comfortable using your phone at this weird angle, and positioned your phone to make Marth's body show up on the tiny screen.

Quietly, you tapped the "picture taking" button, followed by a quiet "click" sound once the photo was taken. You then sat up a bit and went into your photos with a dorky smile, and searched for the picture of Marth. Once found, you examined it and saw that it was perfectly taken, causing you to let out a small, "Yes!" in triumph.

You quickly put your phone away in your pocket and soon after, you felt an arm pull you down towards them. You yelped and was about to slap the person that pulled you down but you cut yourself off again once the two arms slowly wrapped around your waist and pulled you closer to the body behind you.

Softly, the Hero King nuzzled your neck with a soft sigh.

"Your hair smells wonderful, [Y/N]~."

"M-Marth-!"

You were cut off again once the Hero King turned you around to face him, his eyes now looking into yours with a smile on his face that made your heart melt. He tucked a strand of hair behind your ear and softly kissed your forehead, your cheeks turning a bright red at that.

"You are too precious, [Y/N]~. Also, taking a photo of me? That's not quite sneaky of you~," he said smugly before squeezing your hip lightly with a smirk, causing you to squeal.

"I-I j-j-just u-ummmm.... d-don't tell anyone else-!"

Marth could only chuckle and peck you on the lips. "Don't worry, my lips are sealed... with another kiss of course~."

With that, Marth's lips captured yours in a heated kiss, whilst your eyes widened with your heart skipping a ton of beats at that. Though, after a while, you soon got comfortable and kissed him back with up-most passion, your hands finding their way towards his chest.

"Hey! You two better not be making out on the floor!" Link yelled at you both, which made you two immediately pull back.

You became a blushing mess and hid your face into Marth's chest, while Marth only laughed and looked back at the Hylian swordsman.

"See, Link? You are jealous of me being with [Y/N]~."

Link only blushed deeply with a huff and stomp of his boot.

"I-I told you already, Marth! Am not!"

From what you heard, you couldn't help but giggle yourself, making Marth look at you and chuckle. He always thought your giggles were the cutest thing in the world. He then, softly kissed the top of your head and stroked your hair lovingly.

"...Are you two just going to stay there?" Ike asked with an eyebrow raised.

The Hero King merely nodded.

"Of course, Ike~. I want to spend my time with [Y/N] for a while, if that's alright~," he insisted. Ike only shrugged his shoulders and began to make his way inside.

"If you say so, I don't mind it," Ike said before going back into the mansion.

Shulk couldn't help but let out an "Awwwwwwww," at you two before following Ike, while Link looked at Marth with a glare and mumbled, "Disgusting..."

"I heard that, Link," Marth said with a smirk.

Link growled and wanted to stomp on Marth's head but held back, and walked back inside the mansion. Marth chuckled lightly at Link for being such a jealous man before looking down at your form, only to see you peacefully sleeping against his chest yourself. A small sigh left his lips at seeing your cute form, wanting to take a picture of you himself but, he had no phone.

Softly, he placed another soft kiss on the top of your head, and whispered, "Sweet dreams, [Y/N]~," before going back to sleep himself while listening to the peaceful music of Mario Galaxy.
