Missing

3 Months Later

Tonight's the night, I am finally going to tell Gabby how I feel, I hope Lyric and Indi are right and she feels the same way I do, Rebel thought to herself.

She made her way to the private training grounds, expecting to see Zahra and Gabby, waiting for her. Zahra was almost finished her advanced training and was now a very skilled warrior, Rebel was releasing her, to go back to Ton DC today. Zahra had started warming up, but Gabby was nowhere to be seen.

"Hi Zahra, Gabby isn't here yet?" Rebel asked.

"Her weapons are here," Zahra said pointing to Gabby's sword, daggers and bow with her quill of arrows, placed on the benches, outside the training grounds, "but she wasn't here when I arrived. Maybe she forgot something and went back for it."

"Yeah maybe," Rebel worried. "Anyway I wanted to let you know today, you have done so well and you are now ready to go back to Ton DC. I am confident, no-one outside of my own family, will ever beat you in a fight and between you and I know you would defeat some of them."

"You honour me with your praise, Trikova Heda. I will forever be in your debt and at your service, if you ever need me, send for me. I have missed my family, so I will depart now. Thank you for everything." Zahra said.

"It was my honour, Zahra, you honour Trikru, with your skill. Travel safe, my friend. May we meet again." Rebel said clasping Zahra's forearm, before hugging her.

Zahra left, to prepare to travel back to Ton DC. Rebel sat on the bench, near Gabby's weapons and waited for her to return.

After waiting a half hour for Gabby to return, Rebel decided to go look for her, Rebel had a bad feeling, something wasn't right.

Rebel took Gabby's weapons with her and made her way to Gabby's room. Rebel knocked on her door a number of times, but no-one answered, Gabby wasn't there, Rebel quickly put Gabby's weapons in her own room and checked the kitchen. Indi and Nyx were there, waiting for their first meeting of the day, in their diplomatic training.

"Have either of you seen Gabby?" Rebel asked.

"Don't tell me you chased her off before you had a chance to tell her how you feel, Reb." Indi teased.

"I haven't done anything, at least I don't think I did, just her gear was at the training grounds and she wasn't." Rebel explained.

"Even her bow?" Nyx asked. Rebel nodded. "She loves that bow, she wouldn't go anywhere without it." Rebels sisters and cousins, have become really good friends with Gabby, since she arrived and they treated her like one of the family.

"I'm going to keep looking, if you see her, tell her I'm looking for her please." Rebel said distressed.

She raced off to the hospital next, Nyx was right she wouldn't leave her bow behind.

Rebel barged in and almost ran into her sister, who was about to call her next patient.

"Reb," Lyric said shocked, "what's wrong."

"Gabby is missing, have you seen her?" Rebel said.

"No sorry," Lyric said. "I'm sure she will turn up."

"Thanks Lyric, I will let you get back to it. If you see her, please tell I'm looking for her." Rebel said.

Lyric nodded then turned and called her next patent. "Ryder kom Ingranrona," and was instantly captivated by the handsome, young man who made his way to her. She didn't even notice how distraught her sister was, as she rushed out the door.

Rebel ran all the way to the public training grounds, to check if Gabby was there. She wasn't, which was worrying. So Rebel ran all the way back to the private training grounds. Her cousin Jetta was there, with a pretty young warrior Dion Kom Podakru, the curvacious, brunette, warrior was definitely flirting with her cousin and judging by the smile on Jetta face, she was into it. They noticed Rebel running up.

"Sorry Reb, did you want the training grounds? No-one was here when we arrived, so we thought it was available." Jetta explained.

"No it's fine," Rebel said, "have either of you seen Gabby?"

"No sorry, cuz," Jetta said turning to Dion, "Dion have you seen Gabby, today?"

"The pretty brunette you are always with?" Dion asked Rebel. "I saw her on her way here just before Sunrise, sorry I haven't seen her since."

"Thanks anyway. I will keep looking." Rebel said panicking now, she made her way back to the tower.

As soon as she entered the tower, Indi grabbed her, "Rebel you are needed in the throne room, mums sent me to get you." Indi said.

They made their way quickly to the throne room. And bowed to their mothers, as they entered.

"Girls I have just had reports of intruders, galloping away from Polis, this morning, the scout said they had Gabby with them. The two of you and I will be riding out with guards to confront them. Meet me at the stables in 10 mins, prepared for battle." Lexa said.

Rebel quickly gathered all of her weapons and  made her way to the stable, she was on her horse waiting for her mother and sister, to arrive. She didn't care, who she had to kill, to get Gabby back safe.
